Abstract

The levels of accident increase are because of some factors which is, driver, roadway, vehicle and also environment. In Indonesia, traffic accident are the most common problem that we faced. Precaution that we did to anticipate this problem is only based on accident data that has occured. For example, disobedient driver, so the vehicle run above the speed rate. This research using result of accidents survey data and result of vehicle speed survey data that have been carried out. This research was conducted by analyzing and identifying drivers habit against accidents by applying Traffic Conflict Technique Method to observational data at the poit that potentially caused accidents. The location is Highway Junction Post Pengumben that divided into 2 segments. Result of teh research show that this location has a big chance to caused accidents, with percentage of total vehicle at the segment 1, Light Vehicle (LV) 20%, Medium Heavy Vehicle 1 %, Heavy Vehicle 0% and Motorcycle 79%. Meanwhile at the segment 2, Light Vehicle 10%, Medium Heavy Vehicle 1%, Heavy Vehicle 0%, and Motorcycle 90%. There are three kind of conflict that happens on this research which are crash front-on-side, crash front-on-front, and crash side-on-side. Keywords; Safety, Crossroads, Traffic Conflict Technique (TCT) Tingkat kecelakan yang meningkat dapat diakibatkan oleh faktor pengemudi, jalan, kendaraan serta lingkungan. Di Indonesia jumlah kecelakaan lalu lintas menjadi salah satu permasalahan yang sering terjadi. Pencengahan yang dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi kecelekaan hanya berdasarkan data kecelakaan yang telah terjadi. Salah satu contoh, pengemudi kendaraan yang tidak tertib, kendaraan yang melaju dengan kecepatan diatas rata-rata. Penelitian ini menggunakan hasil data survey konflik dan hasil data survey kecepataan kendaraan yang telah dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menganalisa dan mengidentifikasi perilaku pengendara mobil dan sepeda motor terhadap terjadinya kecelakaan dengan mengaplikasikan metode Traffic Conflict Technique (TCT) terhadap data pengamatan pada titik yang menjadi lokasi potensial terhadapa kecelakaan. Lokasi penelitian berada pada Jalan Raya Pos Pengumben yang dibagi menjadi 2 segmen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa lokasi penelitian memliki potensi yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kecelakaan Presentase total kendaraan di lokasi penelitian pada segmen 1 kendaraan ringan (KR) 20%, kendaraan berat menengah (KBM) 1%, bus besar (BB) dan truck besar (TB) 0% serta Sepeda Motor (SM) 79%. Sedangkan pada segmen 2 kendaraan ringan (KR) 10%, kendaraan berat menengah (KBM) 1%, bus besar (BB) dan truck besar (TB) 0% serta Sepeda Motor (SM) 90%. Terdapat 3 varian konflik yang terjadi pada penelitian yaitu tabrakan depan- samping, tabrakan depan-depan dan tabrakan samping-samping.
