Abstract

In reaching easiness, autonomy and accessibility welfare for disabled then it needs sufficient, integrated and sustainable accessibility facilities. The importance of accessibility for the disabled in public buildings to make them able to reach place in the building or out of the building without obstacle and do not make them isolated. One of public building that should be given attention for its accessibility is the train station. Train Station that has long been constructed but do not provide accessibility for the disabled is Train Station of Palmerah. It need follow up to fulfill the accessibility for the disabled at train station of Palmerah so the disabled person able to experience go by train. The research aimed at knowing the condition of accessibility and the implementation for the disabled at the train station of Palmerah that begun with observation that is the departure and arrival of the disabled passenger. The results of simulation in the form of obstacle points that were analyzed based on the obstacle types to know the implementation way. Keywords: accessibility facility, disabled, train station, obstacle. Dalam mencapai kemudahan, kemandirian dan kesejahteraan aksesibilitas bagi penyandang disabilitas tunadaksa maka diperlukan fasilitas aksesibilitas yang memadai, terpadu, dan berkesinambungan. Pentingnya fasilitas aksesibilitas bagi tunadaksa di bangunan-bangunan publik adalah agar tunadaksa dapat mencapai suatu tempat baik didalam bangunan dan diluar bangunan publik tanpa hambatan dan tidak membuat mereka menjadi tersisihkan. Salah satu bangunan publik yang perlu diperhatikan fasilitas aksesibilitasnya adalah Stasiun KA. Stasiun KA yang sudah lama berdiri namun masih belum banyak menyediakan fasilitas aksesibilitas disabilitas adalah Stasiun KA Palmerah. Perlu adanya tindak lanjut untuk memenuhi fasilitas aksesibilitas bagi disabilitas di Stasiun KA Palmerah agar masyarakat disabilitas dapat ikut merasakan indahnya berpergian dengan kereta api. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kondisi fasilitas aksesibilitas dan penerapannya bagi pengguna disabilitas tunadaksa di Stasiun KA Palmerah yang awali dengan observasi yaitu simulasi keberangkatan dan kedatangan penumpang penyandang disabilitas tunadaksa. Hasil dari simulasi yang berupa titik-titik hambatan dianalisis berdasarkan jenis hambatan untuk mengetahui cara penerapannya.
