Abstract

ABSTRAK Media massa sangat mempermudah khalayak dalam mendapatkan informasi terutama dari tayangan televisi dan film yang mudah diakses oleh khalayak melalui media elektronik. Film selalu mempengaruhi dan membentuk masyarakat berdasarkan muatan pesan (message) di baliknya. Peran penulis naskah sangat penting dalam pembuatan film yang bertujuan agar cerita tetap utuh dan sesuai dengan naskah yang telah ada. Dalam memproduksi film tentu terdapat kendala namun harus diselesaikan dengan hati-hati agar cerita yang sudah disepakati tidak mengalami perubahan. Dalam membuat naskah film pendek "All I Want", penulis menggunakan pendekatan realisme dan menggunakan bahasa-bahasa yang dramatik agar dapat memancing emosi khalayak. Alur yang dipilih adalah alur campuran, tujuannya agar dapat mengulik rasa penasaran penonton. Berdasarkan penelitian dan proses pembuatan tugas akhir aplikatif dapat disimpulkan bahwa : (1) Peran penulis naskah sangat penting dalam pembuatan film yang bertujuan agar cerita tetap utuh dan sesuai dengan naskah yang telah ada. (2) Penulis selaku penulis naskah berhasil membuat film pendek All I Want berdasarkan konsep realisme, unsur dramatik serta menggunakan unsur tiga babak. (3) Dalam memproduksi sebuah film yang baik tentu tidak lepas dari kerja sama yang baik film khususnya bagi sutradara, penulis naskah, camera person dan editor. Sebuah tim harus memiliki satu pemahaman yang sama agar sebuah karya film dapat tercipta sesuai dengan rencana. Kata Kunci: Media Massa, Film, Penulis Naskah, Realisme ABSTRACT Mass media greatly facilitates audiences in getting information, especially from television shows and films that are easily accessible to audiences through electronic media. Films always influence and shape society based on the message behind it. The role of the scriptwriter is very important in making the film, which aims to keep the story intact and in accordance with the existing script. In producing the film, of course, there are obstacles, but they must be resolved carefully so that the agreed story does not change. In making the script for the short film "All I Want", the author uses a realism approach and uses dramatic language in order to provoke the audience's emotions. The plot chosen is a mixed plot, the goal is to pique the curiosity of the audience. Based on the research and the process of making an applicative final project, it can be concluded that: (1) The role of the scriptwriter is very important in making the film, which aims to keep the story intact and in accordance with the existing script. (2) The writer as a scriptwriter succeeded in making the short film All I Want based on the concept of realism, dramatic elements and using elements of three acts. (3) In producing a good film, of course, it cannot be separated from good film cooperation, especially for directors, scriptwriters, cameramen and editors.
