Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the comparison between ABC classification, EOQ method and current method of medical inventory control at UKI Hospital in 2020. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with primary data and the results of the comparison of the final stock between the methods used by the Hospital and the EOQ method are analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank test, while the ABC classification is used as a follow-up analysis in terms of the proportion of the budget or financial condition. The results of the study showed a decrease significant difference of the final stock quantity between method that applied by Hospital and the use of the EOQ method but not followed by a decrease in inventory value, this can be described well through continued analysis using the ABC classification of what should be the priority both in purchasing and budget processes adjust to financial conditions and budget proportions, so that management gets a solid foundation to assist decision making in efforts to manage and control optimal medical supplies. Keywords: Inventory Control, EOQ, ABC classification ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan pengendalian persediaan medis pada RSU UKI dengan klasifikasi ABC dan metode EOQ tahun 2020. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan data primer dan hasil perbandingan stok akhir antara metode yang digunakan oleh Rumah Sakit dan metode EOQ di analisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank, sedangkan untuk klasifikasi ABC digunakan sebagai analisa lanjutan dari sisi proporsi anggaran atau kondisi keuangan . Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan perbedaan yang nyata pada penurunan kuantitas stok akhir antara penggunaan metode yang diterapkan oleh RSU UKI dan penggunaan metode EOQ namun tidak diikuti dengan nilai persediaan yang turun, hal tersebut dapat digambarkan dengan baik melalui lanjutan analisa menggunakan klasifikasi ABC tentang apa yang seharusnya menjadi prioritas dalam pembelian maupun proses anggaran menyesuaikan dengan kondisi keuangan dan proporsi anggaran, sehingga manajemen mendapat landasan yang kuat untuk membantu pengambilan keputusan dalam upaya pengelolaan dan kontrol persediaan medis yang optimal.
