Abstract
In 2020, the number of Tiktok users increases along with the emergence of many content creators who uploaded educational content, one of which is the Tiktok user account @niaghan which uploads educational content that are in great demand by the millennial generation. The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the content of messages on @niaghan Tiktok account as an educational medium for the millennial generation. The concepts that are used in this study include; Communication, Messages, Educational Messages, Digital Communications, New Media, Social Media, Content, Educational Media, and Millennial Generation. This research are uses Constructivism Paradigm, with Qualitative Content Analysis research methods. The subject of this research are 20 educational content of Tiktok account @niaghan. The data collection of this research are used observation, documentation, and literature study. The data analysis technique used is Qualitative Data Analysis. The results show that the message content on the Tiktok account @niaghan contains the thoughts and feelings of the creator. The messages conveyed contain the value of moral and social education. Messages are conveyed through verbal (speech) and non-verbal (subtitles). All aspects of delivering the material are quite clear and in accordance with what was conveyed, so that viewers of @niaghan's Tiktok educational video content can understand well. Keywords: Content Analysis, Tiktok, Educational Media, Millennial Generation, @niaghan Pada tahun 2020, jumlah pengguna Tiktok meningkat bersamaan dengan munculnya banyak content creator yang mengunggah konten edukasi, salah satunya adalah akun Tiktok @niaghan yang mengunggah konten edukasi dengan tema yang banyak diminati oleh generasi millenial, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis isi pesan pada akun tiktok @niaghan sebagai media edukasi bagi generasi millenial. Konsep-konsep yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, meliputi; Komunikasi, Pesan, Pesan Edukasi, Komunikasi Digital, New Media, Media Sosial, Konten, Media Edukasi, dan Generasi Millenial. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma konstruktivisme, dengan metode penelitian analisis isi (content analysis) kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini yakni 20 konten edukasi akun Tiktok @niaghan. Data pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah Analisis Data Kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa isi pesan yang ada pada akun Tiktok @niaghan mengandung pikiran dan perasaan dari kreator. Pesan-pesan yang disampaikan mengandung nilai pendidikan moral dan sosial. Pesan disampaikan melalui verbal (ucapan) dan non-verbal (subjudul). Semua aspek dalam penyampaian materi cukup jelas dan sesuai dengan apa yang disampaikan, sehingga dapat dipahami dengan baik oleh penonton konten video edukasi Tiktok @niaghan.
