Abstract

The island of Taiwan consists of several indigenous tribes who inhabit mainland Taiwan and one of them is the Mahebu tribe where Mouna Rudo lives and holds strong traditions from his ancestors. The focus of writing in this qualitative research is to find out the values associated with existing Patriotism. in the film ''Seediq Bale'' (The Real Man) using Ferdinand De Saussure's Analysis. This research is a qualitative research using Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic method. This study aims to provide an interpretation of the text in qualitative research, namely how researchers see the content of communication, read symbols, or interpret the contents of symbolic interactions that occur in communication. By sorting between what is called a signifier and a signified. The results of this study analyze the visualization of Patriotism in the character ofMouna Rudao in the film ''Seediq Bale''. The analysis is carried out by analyzing each scene that shows the visualization of Patriotism in the character of Mouna Rudao. After seeing and examining every scene from the film ''Seediq Bale'', the researcher gets a picture that shows the meaning of Patriotism regarding the main character, namely. 1. Courage 2. Willing to sacrifice 3. Never give up 4. Loyalty of the flock 5. Tolerance 6. Confidence. Keywords: Semiotics, Film. Patriotism. Pulau taiwan terdiri dari beberapa suku asli yang mendiami daratan Taiwan dan salah satunya yaitu suku Mahebu tempat di mana Mouna Rudo tinggal dan memegang kuat tradisi dari para leluhurnya.Fokus penulisasn dalam penelitian kualitatif ini adalah untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai yang terkait ke dalam Patriotisme yang ada pada Film ‘’Seediq Bale’’ ( Pria Sejati ) dengan menggunakan Analisis Ferdinand De Saussure. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode semiotika Ferdinand De Saussure, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberi interpretasi terhadap teks dalam penelitian kualitatif, yaitu bagaimana peneliti melihat isi komunikasi, membaca simbol-simbol, ataupun memaknakan isi interaksi simbolik yang terjadi dalam komunikasi. Dengan melakukan pemilahan antara apa yang di sebut signifier ( penanda ) dan signified ( petanda ). Hasil Penelitian ini menganalisis tentang visualisaisi Patriotisme pada tokoh Mouna Rudao dalam film ‘’Seediq Bale’’.Analisis dilakukan dengan menganalisa dari setiap adegan-adegan yang menampilakn adanya visualisai Patriotrisme pada tokoh Mouna Rudao. Setelah melihat dan menelaah setiap adegan dari film ‘’Seediq Bale’’ peneliti mendapatkan gambaran yang menunjukan adanya makna Patriotisme menggenai tokoh utama yaitu. 1.Keberanian 2.Rela Berkorban 3.Pantang Menyerah 4.Kesetia Kawanan 5.Toleransi 6.Percaya Diri.
