Abstract

Teaching and learning activities (KBM) through the online process are one of the new challenges for teachers in the morning where teachers do not teach faceto- face and utilize the existing internet network. The background in this research is the ability of teachers to operate digital devices is still minimal, the teaching materials delivered are difficult for students to understand and the communication competence of teachers is required to be more communicative. This study aims to describe and analyze teacher communication competencies in teaching through the online process during the 2021/2022 academic year at SMK Satria Jakarta. The theory used in this study is the theory of gestalt learning and the theory of Social Construction of Technology. The paradigm used in this study is the constructivist paradigm. The research method used by the author is a case study. The type of case study method is an intrinsic case study, where the author wants a better understanding of the case to be studied. The results of this study indicate that the pedagogical competence of teachers at SMK Satria Jakarta is able to manage online learning to students. In addition, in personality competence, teachers at SMK Satria Jakarta have personality competencies that can be role models in communicating. In social competence, teachers at SMK Satria Jakarta have social skills which are one of the competencies in the teacher's personality that can distinguish the approach between teachers and students. On professional competence, the teachers at SMK Satria Jakarta have competencies according to their respective fields, and finally the communication competence of teachers at SMK Satria Jakarta in carrying out online learning continues to grow, and can be in line with gestalt learning theory and Social Construction of Technology theory. Keywords: Online, Teacher, Communication, teacher competence, learning Kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM) melalui proses daring menjadi salah satu tantangan baru pagi para guru yang dimana para guru melakukan pengajar tidak secara tatap muka dan memanfaatkan jaringan internet yang ada. Adapun latar belakang pada penelitian ini adalah kemampuan guru dalam mengoperasikan perangkat digital masih minim, materi ajar yang disampaikan sulit dipahami siswa dan kompetensi komunikasi guru yang dituntut untuk lebih komunikatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis kompetensi komunikasi guru dalam mengajar melalui proses daring saat tahun ajaran 2021/2022 di SMK Satria Jakarta. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori belajar gestalt dan teori Social Construction of Technology. Paradigma yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Paradigma konstruktivis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah studi kasus. Jenis metode studi kasus adalah studi kasus intrinsik, dimana penulis menginginkan pemahaman yang lebih baik pada kasus yang akan diteliti. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa kompetensi pedagogik para guru di SMK Satria Jakarta mampu mengelola pembelajaran secara daring ke siswa. Selain itu, dalam kompetensi kepribadian, guru di SMK Satria Jakarta memiliki kompetensi kepribadian yang bisa menjadi panutan dalam berkomunikasi. Pada kompetensi sosial, guru di SMK Satria Jakarta memiliki kemampuan sosial yang menjadi salah satu kompetensi pada pribadi guru yang bisa membedakan cara pendekatan antara guru dan siswa. Pada kompetensi profesional, para guru di SMK Satria Jakarta memiliki kompetensi sesuai dengan bidangnya masing-masing, Serta yang terakhir kompetensi komunikasi guru di SMK Satria Jakarta dalam menjalankan pembelajaran secara daring terus berkembang, dan dapat sejalan dengan teori belajar gestalt dan teori Social Construction of Technology.
