Abstract
The phenomenon of body standards with a proportional, ideal, and good body shape makes some teenagers in Indonesia less confident about their own bodies. The factor that influences this because the impact of television mass media broadcasts programs that show models or artists with their ideal body shapes. This research aims to determine the intensity of watching and the effect of the Television program Hit Power Squat at PT Lejel Home Shopping on Body Image in Teenagers. This study uses quantitative methods by using the sampling technique in this study is proposive sampling wheres the characteristic of the respondents are teenagers around 15-20 years old who like sports and follow diet trens. Based on the results of this research, there is a positive influence between the Effect of Hit Power Squat Program on TV Lejel Home Shopping on Body Image in Adolescents and the results of the hypothesis where Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected with r value of 0.670 > 0.449. Keyword: TV Programs, TV Home Shopping, Body Image, Teenager Fenomena mengenai standar tubuh dengan bentuk tubuh proposional, ideal, dan bagus membuat sebagian remaja di Indonesia menjadi kurang percaya diri akan tubuhnya sendiri. Faktor yang mempengaruhi hal tersebut merupakan media massa Televisi yang menayangkan program yang memperlihatkan model-model atau artis dengan bentuk tubuh ideal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui intensitas menonton dan pengaruh tayangan program Televisi Home Shopping Hit Power Squat di PT Lejel Home Shopping terhadap Body Image pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sample adalah proposive sampling dimana karakteristik responden merupakan remaja usia 15-20 tahun yang menggemari olahraga dan mengikuti tren diet . Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini terdapatnya pengaruh positif antara Pengaruh Tayangan Program Hit Power Squat di TV Lejel Home Shopping terhadap Body Image Pada Remaja serta hasil hipotesis dimana Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak dengan nilai r hitung sebesar 0,670 > 0,449.
