Abstract

Konflik internal partai Demokrat pada tahun 2021, yaitu adanya Gerakan Pengambilalihan Kepemimpinan Partai Demokrat (GPKPD) oleh kubu Moeldoko. Dalam menghadapi konflik, AHY dan Partai Demokrat mengoptimalkan komunikasi politik dalam membangun soliditas dan menyelesaikan konflik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi komunikasi politik AHY dalam membangun soliditas dan menyelesaikan konflik internal Partai Demokrat tahun 2021. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif bersifat eksploratif dengan paradigma interpretativisme. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitina ini adalah wawancara mendalam (indept interview) dan pengumpulan dokumen. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah AHY beserta seluruh jajaran pengurus Partai Demokrat terindikasi berhasil memaksimalkan komunikasi politik baik untuk membangun soliditas internal partai maupun menyelesaikan konflik melalui langkah-langkah yang sangat terencana. Dalam membangun soliditas internal partai, AHY melakukan langkah-langkah komunikasi politik melalui pembentukan Tim Darat dengan melakukan investigasi dan migitasi. Memaksimalkan saluran media internal, baik secara offline (mulai dari Commanders Calls hingga kunjungan ke DPD dan DPC Partai Demokrat di seluruh Indonesia). Sedangkan untuk menyelesaikan konflik sendiri, AHY memaksimalkan unsur-unsur komunikasi politik baik untuk membangun komunikasi dengan pihak eksternal, seperti pemerintah dan publik (public preasure) maupun mengcounter serangan dari Kubu Moeldoko. Tak sampai disitu, AHY juga melakukan langkah hukum sekaligus politik untuk mendapatkan legitimasi kepemimpinan dan pertainya. Maka, temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikator politik dalam memaksimalkan unsur-unsur politik sangat penting dalam membangun kepercayan khalayak internal sehingga terbentuk soliditas partai dan kepercayaan khalayak eksternal yang berefek pada penyelesaikan konflik partai. In dealing with conflicts, AHY and the Democratic Party optimize political communication in building solidity and resolving conflicts. This study aims to explore AHY's political communication in building solidity and resolving the internal conflict of the Democratic Party in 2021. This study uses an exploratory qualitative approach with an interpretativism paradigm. Data collection methods in this research are indepth interviews (indept interviews) and document collection. The conclusion of this research is that AHY and all ranks of the Democrat Party management are indicated to have succeeded in maximizing political communication both to build internal party solidity and to resolve conflicts through very well-planned steps. In building the party's internal solidity, AHY carried out political communication steps through the formation of the Army Team by conducting investigations and mitigation. Maximizing internal media channels, both offline (starting from Commanders Calls to visits to the DPD and DPC of the Democratic Party throughout Indonesia). Meanwhile, to resolve the conflict itself, AHY maximizes the elements of political communication both to build communication with external parties, such as the government and the public (public pressure) and to counter attacks from the Moeldoko camp. Not only that, AHY also took legal as well as political steps to gain legitimacy for his leadership and affairs. Thus, the research findings indicate that the ability of political communicators to maximize political elements is very important in building internal audience trust so that party solidity is formed and external audience trust has an effect on resolving party conflicts.
