Abstract

This study is to determine the effect of Return on Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio, and Free cash flow on the dividend payout ratio in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX in 2015-2018. The object of this research is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research was conducted on 19 samples of companies representing the population with the sampling technique, namely purposive sampling technique. The data used are secondary data in the form of financial reports, data analysis used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that partially the Return on Equity and Free Cash Flow variables affect to the Dividend Payout Ratio. Meanwhile, Debt to Equity Ratio cannot reflect the effect on the Dividend Payout Ratio. Keyword : Return on Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio, Free cash flow, Devidend Payout Ratio, Perusahaan Manufaktur Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh Return on Equity, Debt to Equity Ratio, dan Free cash flow terhadap Devidend payout ratio pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI pada tahun 2015-2018. Objek penelitian ini adalah Perusahan Manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 19 sampel perusahaan yang mewakili dari populasi dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder berbentuk laporan keuangan, analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel Return on Equity dan Free cash flow berpengaruh terhadap Devidend payout ratio. Sedangkan Debt to Equity Ratio tidak dapat mencerminkan pengaruh terhadap Devidend payout ratio.
