Abstract

The study was conducted on companies trading company aimed to analyze the job satisfaction of employees. The study was conducted by using questionnaire data were distributed to every division in the company. By using desktriptif it can be determined the minimum number of samples required. To determine the minimum number of samples required in each division used method of sampling fraction. Form of a questionnaire distributed is based on a questionnaire measuring employee satisfaction. Satisfaction is made to determine the perception of how much employees are satisfied with their job, kepenyeliaan, wages, and benefits, promotion, and with their peers. Preparation of a questionnaire conducted by the Job Description Index advanced by PC Smith as five important aspects affecting job satisfaction. Data processing is done in a way is divided into several sections to obtain satisfaction scores and satisfaction scores of individual organizations. From the data processing show that the level of satisfaction with aspects of the salary is the main cause of job satisfaction in the PT. Kotaminyak internusa low. Penelitian dilakukan pada perusahaan trading company yang ditujukan untuk menganalisa kepuasan kerja karyawannya. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan data kuesioner yang disebar ke setiap divisi pada perusahaan. Dengan menggunakan metode desktriptif maka dapat ditentukan jumlah minimal sample yang diperlukan. Untuk menentukan jumlah minimal sample yang diperlukan pada setiap divisi digunakan metode sampling fraction. Bentuk kuesioner yang disebarkan disusun berdasarkan kuesioner pengukuran kepuasan karyawan. Kepuasan ini dibuat untuk mengetahui persepsi mengenai seberapa jauh karyawan merasa puas dengan perkerjaan mereka, kepenyeliaan, upah, dan keuntungan, promosi, dan dengan sejawat mereka. Penyusunan kuesioner dilakukan berdasarkan Job Description Index yang dikemukakan oleh P.C. Smith sebagai lima aspek yang berpengaruh penting terhadap kepuasan kerja. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan cara dibagi menjadi beberapa bagian untuk memperoleh nilai kepuasan organisasi dan nilai kepuasan perorangan. Dari hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan mengenai aspek gaji menjadi penyebab utama kepuasan kerja di PT. Kotaminyak internusa rendah.
