Abstract

Perusahaan otomotif yang berlokasi di daerah Jakarta, merupakan salah satu produsen yang memproduksi kendaraan roda dua. Salah satu varian yang diproduksi adalah varian matic type P. Pada varian ini terdapat beberapa permasalahan kualitas yang menyebabkan terganggunya kelancaran produksi di perusahaan tersebut. Permasalahan kualitas yang paling tinggi adalah Cover FT sulit setting yang menyumbang 39.9% dari lima besar permasalahan kualitas yang ada dengan presentase mencapai 26% kasus dari total unit yang di produksi setiap harinya. Dengan adanya permasalahan tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penyebab permasalahan Cover FT sulit setting dengan menggunakan metode Fault Tree Analysis untuk mengetahui hubungan di setiap objek-objek yang berinteraksi. Dari hasil analisa diketahui bahwa penyebab kasus Cover FT sulit setting dikarenakan terdapat part yang berkorelasi yang tidak sesuai dengan standar yaitu part Lock Fuel. Part yang tidak sesuai standar tersebut tidak terdeteksi di jig inspection sehingga terpasang pada proses assembly. Maka dilakukan perbaikan dengan metode Poka Yoke pada jig Inspection Lock Fuel agar part yang tidak sesuai standar dapat tersaring dan tidak mengganggu proses produksi pada lini assembly. Dengan perbaikan tersebut permasalahan kualitas Cover FT sulit setting dapat teratasi menjadi 0%. One of the variants produced is the matic type P variant. In this variant there are several quality problems that cause disruption to the smooth running of the production at the company. The highest quality problem is Cover FT which is difficult to arrange, which accounts for 39.9% of the five major quality problems, with the presentation reaching 26% of the total units produced every day. Given these problems, this study aims to determine the cause of the problem. Cover FT is difficult to determine using the Fault Tree Analysis method to see the relationship in each object that can be seen. From the analysis, it is known that the cause of the Cover FT case is difficult to adjust because there is a correlated part that is not in accordance with the standard, namely the Lock Fuel part. Parts that do not comply with these standards are not detected by the jig inspection so that they are installed in the assembly process. Then improvements were made with the Poka Yoke method on the Inspection Lock Fuel jig so that non-standard parts can be filtered and do not interfere with the production process on the assembly line.
