Abstract

PT. Pembangkit Rezeki Utama is a distributor company that provides various types of construction materials. In management and sales procedures are used to handle the purchase process carried out by the customer. As an example of a number of procedures carried out, including the ordering, recording and processing of transaction data. But this procedure is still done conventionally and is done manually. This has caused various contradictions caused by the distribution section. These problems include delays in the delivery process, difficulty evaluating sales data, making reports that require time and damage to the archive so that the company loses data on important transactions that have been previously archived. To overcome this problem, we designed a web-based information system to manage the sale of materials to companies. The design we made is to discuss the rules of analysis and object-oriented design by prioritizing data reuseability features so that the data needed is neater and more efficient. The stages of this research are collection of needs, analysis and design. The purpose of this study is expected that the distribution process will take place more effectively and efficiently so that it can support the company's revenue. Key words: Product Sale, OOAD, Website, requirement, Data processing PT. Pembangkit Rezeki Utama merupakan perusahaan distributor yang menyediakan berbagai jenis material konstruksi. Dalam prosedur pengelolaan dan penjualan yang digunakan untuk menangani proses pembelian oleh customer terdapat beberapa prosedur yang harus dilakukan. Sebagai contoh dari beberapa prosedur tersebut antara lain, proses pemesanan, pencatatan, dan pengolahan data transaksi. Namun prosedur tersebut masih dilakukan secara konvensional dan berlangsung secara manual. Hal ini menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh bagian distribusi. Permasalahan tersebut antara lain terhambatnya proses pengiriman, kesulitan evaluasi data penjualan, pembuatan laporan yang memakan waktu dan rusaknya arsip sehingga perusahaan kehilangan data transaksi penting yang telah diarsipkan tersebut. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, kami membuat rancangan sebuah sistem informasi berbasis web untuk mengelola penjualan material pada perusahaan tersebut. Rancangan yang kami buat ini mengikuti kaidah dari object oriented analysis and design dengan mengedepankan fitur reuseability data sehingga data yang dikelola lebih rapi dan efisien. Tahapan dari penelitian ini adalah requirement gathering, analysis and design. Tujuan dari penelitian ini diharapkan proses distribusi akan berlangsung lebih efektif dan efisien sehingga mampu menunjang lancarnya revenue perusahaan.
