Abstract

Kanker merupakan penyebab kematian nomor dua di dunia yakni terhitung 8,8 juta kematian di 2015. Kanker paru – paru, prostat, usus, lambung, dan hati merupakan kanker yang paling umum di antara laki – laki, sedangkan kanker payudara, usus, paru – paru, leher rahim, dan perut merupakan kanker yang paling umum di antara perempuan (WHO, 2017). Lebih dari 30% penyakit kanker dapat dicegah dengan cara mengubah faktor resiko perilaku dan pola penyebab penyakit kanker. Kanker yang diketahui sejak dini memiliki kemungkinan untuk mendapatkan penanganan lebih baik. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan upaya pencegahan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam mengenali gejala dan resiko penyakit kanker sehingga dapat menentukan langkah – langkah pencegahan dan deteksi dini yang tepat. Salah satu upaya untuk menangani masalah tersebut adalah dengan membuat wadah berupa tempat penanganan khusus menangani penyakit kanker tersebut. Terdapat rumah sakit khusus yang menangani penyakit kanker ini di Jakarta, yaitu rumah sakit Rumah Sakit Kanker Dharmais (RSKD) dan Mochtar Riady Comprehensive Cancer Centre (MRCCC) Siloam Semanggi. Dari hasil data di atas maka dapat dikuatkan bahwa khususnya di Jakarta masih sangat memerlukan rumah sakit kanker, maka dari itu proyek ini akan di laksanakan tepatnya di Cawang, Jakarta Timur. Melihat kondisi site dan jenis bangunan yang akan dibangun maka tema yang akan digunakan “Green Architecture”. Kebanyakan orang pengidap penyakit kanker menurut (Avera Cancer Institute) kanker memengaruhi pasien dalam segala hal baik secara fisik, emosional, relasional, spiritual dan finansial. Dan menurut (Kaplan dkk., 1993) mengeluarkan teori bahwa ada beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh dalam proses kesembuhan pasien, yakni : Faktor Lingkungan (40%), Faktor Medis (10%), Faktor Genetis (20%) dan Faktor lainnya (10%). Setelah melihat presentase, bahwa hal yang sangat memiliki pengaruh dalam proses kesembuhan pasien adalah faktor lingkungan yakni 40%. Mengingat hal itu maka dalam perancangan ini memiliki pendekatan berupa Healing Environment. Lung, prostate, intestinal, gastric, and liver cancers are the most common cancers among men, whereas breast, colon, lung cancer - lung, cervix, and stomach are the most common cancers among women (WHO, 2017). More than 30% of cancer can be prevented by how to change risk factors and behavior patterns of the causes of the cancer disease. Cancer known since the early have the possibility to get better handling. Therefore, prevention efforts need to be made as an effort to increase public awareness in recognizing the symptoms and risks of cancer so that they can determine appropriate preventive and early detection measures on cancer cases. One of the effort to deal with these problems is to create a container in the form of a special treatment place to deal with the disease of cancer. There are specialized hospitals that deal with cancer in Jakarta, like Dharmais Cancer Hospital (RSKD) and Mochtar Riady Comprehensive Cancer Centre (MRCCC) Siloam in Semanggi Jakarta. Based on the results of the above data it can be corroborated that, Jakarta (especially) still require more cancer hospital to build, therefore this project will be conducted exactly in Cawang, East Jakarta. Seeing the condition of the site and the type of building to be built, the theme will be used "Green Architecture". According to (Avera Cancer Institute) cancer affect patients in all things both physically, emotionally, relational, spiritual and financial. And according to (Kaplan et al., 1993) theory, there are several factors that influence positively to the healing process of patients, that are: Environmental Factors (40%), Medical Factors (10%), Genetic Factors (20%), and Other Factors (10%). After seeing the percentage, Environmental Factors are really has a big influence on the patient's healing process (40%). Based on this idea, this design has an approach in the form of “Healing Environment”.
