Abstract

Pada industri kaca air digunakan untuk mencuci kaca, pengering kaca, campuran chemical, dan sebagai pendingin untuk menjaga temperatur dalam furnace (tungku pelebur) tersebut. Untuk menyesuaikan penggunaan tersebut maka air akan diproses terlebih dahulu agar mencapai spesifikasi air yang dibutuhkan. Data produksi air baku reverse osmosis pada perusahaan mencatatkan 200 data cacat dari total 462 data dari bulan September 2019 sampai Januari 2020. Analisa akan dilakukan dengan metode Six Sigma (DMAIC). DMAIC adalah kependekan dari define, measure, analyze, improvement, dan control. Pada tahap define akan mencari masalah dari kualitas air dengan proses SIPOC dan juga menentukan CTQ (critical to quality). Pada tahap measure akan digunakan pengukuran DPMO yang terukur 2,64 sigma dan mengukur kecacatan yang terjadi dengan p-chart. Pada tahap analyze akan melihat penyebab cacat tertinggi dengan pareto chart. Defect tertinggi terjadi pada hardness. Tahap improve menggunakan FMEA untuk melihat nilai RPN tertinggi. Improvement yang dilakukan adalah untuk mengubah sumber air yang sebelumnya dari air olahan flw menjadi air softener. Setelah improvement didapat nilai sigma naik menjadi 4.1 sigma. Pada fase control akan dilakukan pengambilan data secara rutin untuk mengatasi kualitas air baku. Hasil penelitian ini digunakan untuk laporan hasil improvement pada kualitas air baku perusahaan. To fulfill the needs, the water will be processed first in order to achieve the required water specifications. The reverse osmosis raw water production data at the company recorded 200 defective data from a total of 462 data from September 2019 to January 2020. The analysis will be conducted using the Six Sigma method (DMAIC). DMAIC is short for define, measure, analyze, improvement, and control. The define stage will look for problems with water quality with the SIPOC process and also determine CTQ (critical to quality). In the measure phase will use DPMO and sigma level measured at 2.64 sigma and to measure the disability that occurs, p-chart will be used. The analyze phase will see the highest causes of defects with a pareto chart. The highest defect occurs is hardness defect. In the improve phase, FMEA is used to see the highest RPN rating. Improvement is to change the source of water to softened water. After improvement sigma level increase to 4.1 sigma. In the control phase, data collection will be inducted out regularly to overcome the quality of raw water.
