Abstract

The implementation of the design interior project development delays so that the total duration of the development a setback, the occurrence of the delay was due to waste in project activities. Based on this, this study aims to analyze the types of waste and their causes and make improvement that can result in timely scheduling for the next design interior project. The approach used is the Project Management and Lean Construction. Project management approach by monitoring the s curve and identify the critical path using the critical path method (CPM), this approach is used to see differences in weekly progress and the critical path in design interior work. The lean construction approach uses value stream mapping to identify waste in current state mapping, wy-why analysis, 5W-1H, fishbone diagram and failure mode and effect mode (FMEA) to describe the causes of waste and future state mapping to describe improvements that will be made in order to produce timely project scheduling. The result of this research, there is waste in the critical work of this project, it is a waste of defects, inventory, and waiting. The cause of waste that occurs in the implementation of design interior projects is waste waiting because the material is stored in a warehouse located far from the workshop, so it takes a long time. Waste defects by checking material samples and waste inventory by training and submission of materials with the same specifications. So from the proposed improvement, the duration of the design interior project is 15 days faster from 85 days to 70 days. Keywords: Project Management, Lean Construction, Waste, Value Stream Mapping, Critical Path Method, Fishbone Diagram Pelaksanaan pekerjaan design interior mengalami keterlambatan sehingga durasi total pembangunan mengalami kemunduran, terjadinya keterlambatan tersebut disebabkan adanya pemborosan pada aktivitas proyek. Berdasarkan hal tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis jenis waste dan penyebabnya serta membuat usulan perbaikan aktivitas yang dapat menghasilkan penjadwalan tepat waktu untuk pekerjaan design interior selanjutnya. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan Project Management dan Lean Construction. Pendekatan project management dengan monitoring kurva s dan identifikasi jalur kritis menggunakan critical path method (CPM), pendekatan ini digunakan untuk melihat perbedaan progress mingguan serta jalur kritis pada pekerjaan design interior. Pendekatan lean construction menggunakan value stream mapping untuk identifikasi waste pada current state mapping, wy-why analysis, 5W-1H, fishbone diagram dan failure mode and effect mode (FMEA) untuk menggambarkan penyebab waste dan future state mapping untuk menggambarkan improvement yang akan dilakukan agar menghasilkan penjadwalan proyek yang tepat waktu. Hasil dari penelitian ini, terdapat waste dalam pekerjaan kritis proyek ini, yaitu waste waiting, defects dan inventory. Penyebab waste yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaan design interior adalah waste waiting karena material disimpan di gudang yang terletak jauh dari tempat produksi, sehingga memakan waktu yang lama. Waste defects dengan memeriksa sampel material dan waste inventory dengan pengadaan pelatihan kerja dan mengajukan material dengan spesifikasi yang sama. Sehingga dari usulan perbaikan, durasi pekerjaan design interior lebih cepat 15 hari dari 85 hari menjadi 70 hari.
