Abstract

ABSTRAKSI Kemajuan teknologi dan informasi yang terus berkembang dari waktu ke waktu yang dapat mempermudah segala aktivitas umat manusia salah satunya adalah media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang semakin diminati oleh masyarkat.pada saat ini banyak bermunculan teknologi yang mempermudah masyarkat salah satu nya adalah Virtual Reality (VR).Realitas maya suatu teknologi yang dapat membuat pengguna berinteraksi dengan lingkungan yang di simulasikan oleh computer (computer-simulated environment),suatu lingkungan yang sebenarnya ditiru atau benar-benar suatu lingkungan baru yang hanya ada dalam computer (Raniarti, 2009).Setelah Virtual Reality dikenal dan digunakan oleh masyrakat dunia muncul lah suatu teknologi baru yang merupakan cabang dari Virtual Reality itu sendiri yaitu teknologi bernama Augmented Reality (AR).Pada dasarnya menurut Ronald T.Azuma teknologi yang diterapkan masih sama dengan Virtual Reality yaitu bersifra interaktif, immersion (membenamkan/memasukan),realtime,dan objek virtual berbentuk 3 dimensi.Augmented Reality sendiri menggabungkan objek virtual kedalam lingkungan nyata,yang merupakan kebalikan dari Virtual Reality. Sedikitnya informasi tentang jumlah pulau yang ada di lampung dan kurangnya minat masyarakt akan mengetahui jumlah pulau yang ada di lampung penulis membuat suatu aplikasi yang menarik berbasis teknologi Augmented Reality.Proses pembuatan objek 3 dimensi menggunakan blender, serta perancangan program menggunakan Unity dan Vuforia SDK. Kata Kunci: Pengenalan pulau-pulau besar di propinsi lampung,Augmented Reality,blender,unity,Vuforia ABSTRACT Advancement of technology and information that continues to evolve from time to time that can facilitate all the activities of mankind one of them is a technology-based learning media increasingly in demand by society.pada now many emerging technologies that simplify the community one of them is Virtual Reality (VR). The virtual reality of a technology that allows users to interact with a computer-simulated environment, an environment that is actually imitated or really a new environment that exists only in computers (Raniarti, 2009). Once Virtual Reality is known and used by the world community emerged is a new technology which is a branch of the Virtual Reality itself is a technology called Augmented Reality (AR). Basically according to Ronald T.Azuma technology applied is still the same with Virtual Reality is bersifra interactive, immersion (immerse / insert), realtime, and viral objects tual form of 3 dimensions. Self-realied Reality combines virtual objects into real environment, which is the opposite of Virtual Reality. The least information about the number of islands in Lampung and the lack of interest society will know the number of islands in Lampung the author makes an interesting application based on Augmented Reality technology. The process of making 3-dimensional objects using blenders, as well as program design using Unity and Vuforia SDK.
