Abstract

ABSTRAK Manajemen persediaan bahan kimia yang dilakukan di laboratorium PT Takeda Indonesia saat ini belum tertata dengan baik. Tidak adanya ketentuan safety stock mengakibatkan sering terjadinya kehabisan bahan kimia dan membuat proses analisa terhenti. Selain itu, terkadang terjadi over stock yang mengakibatkan bahan kimia menjadi kadaluarsa (expired) yang berakhir tidak dapat digunakan dan harus dimusnahkan. Keadaan over stock juga dapat berakibat terlalu tingginya biaya pemeliharaan bahan tersebut selama penyimpanan di gudang. Metode MRP sebagai salah satu metode pengendalian persediaan digunakan untuk menentukan lot sizing pemesanan bahan kimia yang optimal untuk meminimasi biaya persediaan. Teknik lot sizing yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik LFL, EOQ, POQ dan PPB. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, metode pengendalian persediaan perusahaan saat ini dapat diperbaiki dan biaya persediaan dapat ditekan. Output dari penelitian ini adalah usulan metode alternatif dalam pengendalian persediaan bahan kimia khususnya bahan kimia Acetonitrile dan Methanol di Laboratorium Quality Control PT. Takeda Indonesia yaitu metode MRP Teknik Part Period Balancing (PPB). Dengan memperhitungkan safety stock dan menghitung MRP, teknik PPB dapat menghemat biaya persediaan bahan kimia Acetonitrile sebesar Rp 2.541.846,30 atau sebesar 20,15 persen dan menghemat biaya persediaan bahan kimia Methanol sebesar Rp 12.194.039,40 atau sebesar 54,41 persen di periode Fiscal Year 2017. ABSTRACT The chemical inventory management conducted at PT Takeda Indonesia's laboratory is not well organized yet. The absence of safety stock provisions resulted in frequent occurrence of chemical outages and made the analysis process stalled. In addition, sometimes over stock causes chemicals to expire (expired) that end up unusable and must be destroyed. The state of over stock can also result in too high the cost of maintaining the material during storage in the warehouse. MRP method as one of the inventory control methods used to determine the optimal chemical sizing order order to minimize the cost of inventory. The lot sizing technique used in this research is LFL, EOQ, POQ and PPB techniques. Based on the results of the analysis, the company's inventory control methods can now be improved and inventory costs can be reduced. The output of this research is the proposal of alternative methods in controlling the supply of chemicals, especially Acetonitrile and Methanol chemicals in Quality Control Laboratory PT. Takeda Indonesia is the method of MRP Technique Part Period Balancing (PPB). By calculating the safety stock and calculating the MRP, the PPB technique can save the cost of Acetonitrile chemical inventory amounting to Rp 2.541.846,30 or by 20,15 percent and save the cost of methanol chemicals inventory by Rp 12.194.039,40 or by 54,41 percent in the Fiscal Year 2017 period.
