Abstract

Abstrak Kemajuan teknologi Printer 3D telah banyak membantu mahasiswa ataupun engineer dalam mengembangkan sebuah produk melalui pembuatan prototype untuk meminimalisir biaya riset den pengembangan. Teknologi printer 3D masih tergolong langka dan harga yang relatif mahal. Dilansir dari situs 3dprint.com, CCS Insights melaporkan bahwa pada tahun 2014, sekitar 158.000 printer terjual di pasar global. Jumlah tersebut diprediksi akan meningkat pesat pada tahun 2018 sebanyak 845.000 printer. Mengingat manfaat printer 3D bisa membantu mempercepat laju inovasi, peniliti merasa perlu untuk mencoba memberikan solusi dengan menghadirkan produk printer 3D yang bisa bersaing dipasar. Pengembangan produk printer 3D ini menggunakan metode QFD dan LCC sehingga bisa menghasilkan desain produk yang efektif dengan harga yang kompetitif. Kata kunci : Quality Function Deployment, Life Cycle Cost, 3D printer Technology Abstract The advancement of 3D printer technology has helped many students or engineers in developing a product through the manufacture of prototype to minimize the cost of research and development. 3D printer technology is still quite rare and the price is relatively expensive. Launched from 3dprint.com site, CCS Insights reports that in 2014, about 158,000 printers sold in the global market. The number is predicted to increase rapidly in 2018 as many as 845,000 printers. Given the benefits of 3D printers can help accelerate the pace of innovation, researchers feel the need to try to provide solutions by bringing 3D printer products that can compete in the market. The development of this 3D printer product uses QFD and LCC methods so that it can produce an effective product design with competitive price.
