Abstract

Pengaruh Rendaman Air Asam Sulfat Pasca Curing Terhadap Kuat Tekan Beton Yang Berasal Dari Tiga Quarry Pasir Yang Berbeda, Yusdhistira Saptapringga Riesky Sundani, 41116210012, Agyanatha Tua Munthe, S.T,MT., 2020. Beton merupakan salah satu bahan konstruksi yang telah umum digunakan untuk bangunan gedung, jembatan, jalan, dan lain-lain. Beton seperti hal nya struktur bangunan lainnya, tidak terlepas dari kerusakan – kerusakan yang dapat mengurangi durabilitasnya, salah satu sebabnya adalah karna pengaruh eksternal atau lingkungan dimana struktur beton itu berada, seperti pada lokasi-lokasi tertentu, misalnya di lingkungan yang berhubungan dangan bahan kimia, sulfat, klorida, garam atau yang berada di daerah laut. Tujuan penelitian ini pengaruh rendaman air asam sulfat pada beton konfensional dan mengetahui beton dengan campuran pasir dari daerah mana yang kuat tekan nya lebih tinggi setelah direndam dengan rendaman asam sulfat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan mencampur senyawa asam sulfat pada air sebagai media curing beton yang berasal dari tiga quary pasir yang berbeda dengan variasi komposisi senyawa asam sulfat yang berberda umtuk mendapatkan data-data hasil kuat tekan dari penelitian ini. Dari hasil penelitian ini mendapat kesimpulan bahwa Beton normal yang berasal dari pasir gunung yaitu pasir Cimangkok (CMK), dan Cigombong (BHM) lebih tahan terhadap konsentrasi asam sulfat 2% dan 5%. Beton normal yang berasal dari pasir sungai yaitu pasir Citarik (CTK) tidak tahan terhadap konsentrasi asam sulfat 2% dan 5% yang mengakibatkan kuat tekan nya lebih rendah dibandingkan pasir gunung. Concrete is one of the construction materials that has been commonly used for buildings, bridges, roads, and others. Concrete is like the structure of other buildings, not apart from damage-damage that can reduce its length, one of the causes of external influence or environment where the concrete structure is located, such as in certain locations, for example in an environment related to chemicals, sulfate, chloride, salt or in the sea area. The purpose of this research is the immersion of sulfuric acid water in the conformational concrete and know the concrete with a mixture of sand from which areas of the strong press is higher after marinated with the marinate sulfuric acid. The research method used is using experimental methods by mixing sulfuric acid compounds in water as a concrete curing medium that comes from three different sand quarry with variations of the composition of sulfuric acid compounds that are different to get the results of strong press from this research. From the results of this study concluded that the normal concrete derived from sand Mountain namely the sand Cimangkok (CMK), and Cigombong (BHM) is more resistant to concentrations of sulphuric acid 2% and 5%. Normal concrete derived from the sand of the river that is Citarik sand (CTK) is not resistant to concentrations of sulphuric acid 2% and 5% which resulted in strong press is lower than the mountain sand. Normal concrete derived from the mixture of river Sand (Citarik) and mountain Sand (Cimangkok and Cigombong) called Pasir Mix (MX) is more resistant to the concentration of acid sulphate 5% compared to other sand Key words – sulphuric acid, strong press, Quarry sand, marinate.
