Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine and analyze the data used in this research is the primary data the total sample is 187 students consume smoking at the University of Mercu Buana. The sampling technique used is the method of purposive sampling. Data retrieval with the questionnaire and data analysis using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) the results of this research indicate that: (1) the Self-control effect significantly to attitude of smoking; (2) knowledge smoke effect significantly to attitude of smoking; (3) the social environment effect significantly to attitude of smoking; (4) the attitude of smoking effect significantly to interest in smoking cessation; (5) the self-control effect significantly to interest in smoking cessation; (6) the social environment has no effect against a significant interest in quitting. Keywords : self-control, knowledge of smoking, social environment, the Attitude Of Smoking, Interest In Quitting Smoking Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis, data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer total sample adalah 187 siswa yang telah mengkonsumsi rokok di Universitas Mercu Buana. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah metode purposive sampling. Pengambilan data dengan kuesioner dan data analisis dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa : (1) Kendali Diri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap merokok; (2) pengetahuan merokok berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap merokok; (3) lingkungan sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap sikap merokok; (4) sikap merokok berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat berhenti merokok; (5) Kendali diri berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat berhenti merokok; (6) lingkungan sosial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat berhenti merokok.
