Abstract
Vocational High School (SMK) is a formal education that organizes vocational education to prepare students who are creative, master science and technology, and have competencies that are in accordance with the demands of the world of work. SMK Negeri 2 Tangerang Selatan City is one of the vocational schools that provides multimedia vocational education. Departing from the aim to improve the competence of multimedia students, the writer and the team held a workshop with the theme "The Future Career Of Broadcaster". The workshop activity was attended by 28 students of class 2 Multimedia, the authors chose class 2 because they will carry out Field Work Practices (PKL) in July 2022. In the workshop activities the authors share knowledge related to various kinds of program events, stages of program production and roles one television crew, namely the production assistant. The activity will take place from March 25 to May 28, 2022. The output of the workshop activity was that the participants produced an interview talk show program which was broadcast live on the YouTube channel of SMKN 2 South Tangerang. The program produced with the theme "Young People Realize Their Dreams" with the program name "NE2TALKS". This activity received a positive response from the school and the participants as evidenced by the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the activity from beginning to end. Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) salah satu pendidikan formal yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan kejuruan untuk mempersiapkan peserta didik yang kreatif, menguasai ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, serta memiliki kompetensi yang sesuai dengan tuntutan dunia kerja. SMK Negeri 2 Kota Tangerang Selatan salah satu SMK yang menyediakan pendidikan kejuruan multimedia. Berangkat dari tujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa multimedia penulis dan tim mengadakan workshop yang bertemakan “The Future Career Of Broadcaster”. Kegiatan workshop diikuti oleh 28 siswa/i kelas 2 Multimedia, penulis memilih kelas 2 karena mereka akan melaksanakan Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) pada bulan Juli 2022. Pada kegiatan workshop penulis berbagi pengetahuan terkait berbagai macam program acara, tahapan produksi program acara dan peran salah satu kru televisi yaitu production assistant. Kegiatan berlangsung pada tanggal 25 Maret hinggga 28 Mei 2022. Hasil luaran dari kegiatan workshop yaitu para peserta memproduksi program acara talkshow wawancara yang disiarkan secara langsung di kanal youtube SMKN 2 Tangerang Selatan. Program acara yang diproduksi bertemakan “Muda Mewujudkan Cita” dengan nama program “NE2TALKS”. Kegiatan ini mendapatkan respon positif dari sekolah dan peserta terbukti dari semangatnya peserta mengikuti kegiatan dari awal sampai akhir.
