Abstract

PVC cutting machine with programmable logic control is one of the processes that can simplify the work of operators in a company where the process of this machine is done automatically, besides this machine is also designed with good security where the operation of this machine is done by pressing the push bottom button with both operator's hands in order to minimize the occurrence of work accidents and this machine is designed to be far from the reach of the operator's body plus an emergency switch button that aims if something unexpected happens can press the emergency switch button and the machine will stop altogether. This final project aims to create a control program on a PVC cutting machine. The analysis carried out on this program uses manual and automatic testing (program). Making this program must be in accordance with the concepts that have been made before, making this program will be included in the PLC Omron CP1E 30 I / O. the concept that has been made has the number of inputs 6 and output 2, the research method carried out in the form of literature studies through books and the internet. In addition to the job description of this PVC cutting machine, there are several important and special things that must be considered in making this control program, from the results of making the program and analyzing the program that has been made, then the right choice of time is used to use this program. Keywords: PVC cutting machine, Programmable Logic Control, PLC Omron CP1E, Automation system Mesin pemotong PVC dengan programmable logic control ini merupakan salah satu proses yang dapat mempermudah pekerjaan operator di sebuah perusahaan dimana proses dari mesin ini dilakukan secara otomatis, selain itu mesin ini juga dirancang dengan keamanan yang baik dimana pengoperasian mesin ini dilakukan dengan menekan tombol push bottom dengan kedua tangan operator agar dapat meminimalisir terjadinya kecelakaan kerja dan mesin ini dirancang agar jauh dari jangkauan tubuh operator ditambah adanya tombol emergency switch yang bertujuan bila terjadi sesuatu yang tidak diinginkan dapat menekan tombol emergency switch dan mesin akan berhenti secara keseluruhan. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk membuat program kontrol pada mesin pemotong PVC. Analisis yang dilakukan terhadap program ini menggunakan pengujian secara manual dan otomatis (program). Pembuatan program ini harus sesuai dengan konsep yang telah dibuat sebelumnya, pembuatan program ini akan dimasukkan kedalam PLC Omron CP1E 30 I/O. konsep yang telah dibuat mempunyai jumlah input 6 dan output 2, metode penelitian yang dilakukan berupa studi literatur melalui buku-buku dan internet. Selain deskripsi kerja dari mesin pemotong PVC ini, ada beberapa hal penting dan khusus yang juga harus dipertimbangan dalam pembuatan program kontrol ini, dari hasil pembuatan program dan analisis program yang telah dibuat maka didapat pilihan waktu yang tepat untuk digunakan pada program ini.
