Abstract

The obejective of this research is to identify and to analyse the influence of leadership and quality of human resouces on staff performance of UI library. This research uses regreesion analysis method to forecast the value of inter-related variables. Software SPSS ver 15 is used to manipulate the independent variables, namely leadership and quality of human resouces and dependent variable, namely, staff performance. The samples of population are staff of UI library, amounted to 36. The results of this research shows that there is influence of the leadership and quality of human resources on staff performance. The quality leaderhip of the library head is refleted in her strong communication and direction and subsequently gives a positive impact on the staff performance. Key words: Leadership, Quality of Human Resouces, Staff Performance Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Pengaruh Kepemimpinan dan Kualitas SDM terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Perpustakaan UI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis regresi yang bertujuan untuk meramalkan nilai dari suatu variabel yang saling berhubungan. Alat bantu yang digunakan adalah software SPSS ver 15 dengan variabel independen, yaitu Kepemimpinan dan variabel Kualitas SDM serta variabel dependen, yaitu Kinerja Pegawai. Sampel penelitiannya yaitu pegawai Perpustakaan UI yang berjumlah 36 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh antara kepemimpinan, Kualitas SDM, dan Kinerja Pegawai. Kualitas kepemimpinan kepala perpustakaan berjalan baik dengan adanya komunikasi dan arahan sehingga memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap kinerja pegawai Kata kunci: Kepemimpinan, Kualitas SDM, Kinerja Pegawai.
