Abstract
ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to prove and see that there is a relationship between parenting (authoritative, authoritarian, and permissive) and temperament (surgency, negative affectivity, and effortful control) of pre-school children in housing Graha Mustika Cileungsi. The population in this research are parents who have children aged 3-8 years (pre-school) in housing Graha Mustika Cileungsi. The technique used in determining the sample is an accidental sampling technique, which is included in the category of non-probability sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 110 parents who have children aged 3-8 years (pre-school). Data analysis techniques used is descriptive statistical analysis and pearson correlation technique in SPSS for Windows ver. 21. The results of this study showed a positive relationship between parenting and temperament of pre-school children in housing Graha Mustika Cileungsi. Keywords: Parenting, Temperament, and Pre-School Children ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuktikan dan melihat ada hubungan antara pola asuh (authoritative, authoritarian, dan permissive) dan temperamen (surgency, negative affectivity, dan effortful control) pada anak pra-sekolah di perumahan Graha Mustika Cileungsi. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah orang tua yang memiliki anak dengan rentang usia 3-8 tahun (pra-sekolah) di Perumahan Graha Mustika Cilengsi. Teknik yang digunakan dalam menentukan sampel yaitu teknik accidental sampling, yang termasuk dalam kategori non-probability sampling. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 110 orang tua yang memiliki anak dengan rentang usia 3-8 tahun (pra-sekolah). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan teknik pearson correlation pada SPSS for windows ver. 21.0. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif antara pola asuh dan temperamen pada anak pra-sekolah di Graha Mustika Cileungsi. Kata Kunci: Pola Asuh, Temperamen, dan Anak Pra-Sekolah
