Abstract

PERBANDINGAN EFISIENSI PENGGUNAAN PROFIL CASTELLATED BEAM DENGAN CORRUGATED BEAM PADA PERENCANAAN STRUKTUR BAJA GEDUNG BERLANTAI BANYAK Ardiyanto1 , Prof. Dr. Ir. Drs. Telepon/Fax : (021) 8449635 [email protected] , ABSTRAK Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan suatu profil yang awalnya didesain profil IWF kemudian dibandingkan dengan profil castellated beam dan corrugated beam sebagai balok. Studi ini membahas tentang karakteristik pada masing-masing profil yang didesain, seperti menentukan permodelan struktur dan analisis struktur, menjelaskan kelebihan dan kekurangannya serta membandingkan efisiensi penggunaannya dari ketiga profil tersebut. Perhitungan yang dilakukan meliputi perhitungan beban, perhitungan preliminary design, perhitungan gempa, perhitungan balok, perhitungan kolom, dan perhitungan sambungan. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, profil castellated beam lebih ringan 8,42% dibanding profil IWF. Profil castellated beam juga memilik momen nominal lebih besar 4,70% dibanding profil IWF. Profil corrugated beam memiliki luas penampang yang lebih kecil sebesar 34,36% dibandingkan dengan profil IWF. Profil castellated beam dan corrugated beam nyatanya memilikin kuat geser nominal yang lebih kecil dibanding profil IWF sebesar 1,28% dan 8,53%. Telepon/Fax : (021) 8449635 [email protected] , ABSTRACT This Final Project aims to compare a profile that was originally designed with an IWF profile and then compared with a profile of castellated beam and corrugated beam as a beam. This study discusses the characteristics of each profile that is designed, such as determining structural modeling and structural analysis, explaining the strengths and weaknesses and comparing the efficiency of their use from the three profiles. The calculations include load calculation, preliminary design calculation, earthquake calculation, beam calculation, column calculation, and connection calculation. Based on the results and discussion, the profile of castellated beam is 8.42% lighter than the IWF profile. The profile of castellated beam also has a nominal moment greater than 4.70% compared to the IWF profile. The corrugated beam profile has a smaller crosssectional area of 34.36% compared to the IWF profile. The profile of castellated beam and corrugated beam actually has a smaller nominal shear strength than the IWF profile of 1.28% and 8.53%.
