Abstract
In mergers requires a change in an organizational that is closely linked to cultural change. Every organization implement a different organizational culture where the norms and values adopted are also different. The merged company should be able to combine organizational culture in order to create an organizational culture that is more powerful for both company. Employee performance differences between the two entities merged can be overcome with training programs. This study aims to look at the influence of employee training on organizational culture and the success of the merger, and the influence of organizational culture on the successful merger. The sampling technique used in this study is a non probability sampling. This reserach carried out on employees of CIMB Niaga amounted 90 peoples. Data collection instruments were prepared in the form of a questionnaire using Likert scale. The result from this research is there is a positive relationship between employee training on organizational culture and the success of merger. The conclusion is the better employee ttraining program will be more powerful organizational culture that is owned, so the level of success of the merger also will be higher. Dalam merger menuntut adanya perubahan organisasi yang berhubungan erat dengan perubahan budaya. Setiap organisasi menerapkan budaya organisasi yang berbeda dimana norma-norma dan nilai-nilai yang dianutpun berbeda. Perusahaan peserta merger harus dapat menggabungkan budaya organisasinya guna mewujudkan budaya organisasi yang lebih kuat bagi kedua perusahaan. Adanya perbedaan kinerja karyawan antara kedua perusahaan peserta merger dapat diatasi dengan program pelatihan karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pelatihan karyawan terhadap budaya organisasi dan keberhasilan merger, serta pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap keberhasilan merger itu sendiri. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Non Probability Sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap karyawan CIMB Niaga yang berjumlah 90 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data disusun dalam bentuk angket yang menggunakan skala model Likert. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara Pelatihan Karyawan terhadap Budaya Organisasi dan Keberhasilan Merger. Kesimpulannya adalah semakin baik program Pelatihan Karyawan maka akan semakin kuatnya Budaya Organisasi yang dimiliki, sehingga tingkat Keberhasilan Merger juga akan semakin tinggi.
