Abstract

ABSTRACT Since the last few decades, the development of information and communication technology has been increased rapidly. One of the most rapid technological developments today is computer-based mobilization, for example smartphones and tablet computers. Smartphones and tablet computers have now become a technological trend in society. Due to its portable and flexible nature, smartphones and tablet computers make it easier for people to help complete their daily activities. Currently, Android is one of the most mobile-based platforms of its users. However, there are still many companies that have not fully utilized the technology to conduct operational activities or office management. One of them is the process of submission of leave, there are still submissions by using the form. Therefore, looking at the current technological trends, the authors have the idea of creating a "Leave application mobile based" that can replace manual or manual systems that can be done within the office environment. This app runs on the Android platform. It is expected that this application more effective and efficient. Keywords: Android, Apps, Leave, Leave, Smartphone, Mobile. ABSTRAK Sejak beberapa dasawarsa terakhir, perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi berlangsung semakin pesat. Salah satu perkembangan teknologi yang paling pesat saat ini adalah komputerisasi berbasis mobile, contohnya smartphone dan komputer tablet. Smartphone dan komputer tablet kini telah menjadi tren teknologi dalam masyarakat. Karena sifatnya yang portable dan fleksibel, smartphone dan komputer tablet semakin memudahkan masyarakat dalam membantu menyelesaikan kegiatan sehari-hari. Saat ini, Android merupakan salah satu platform berbasis mobile yang paling tinggi penggunanya. Namun saat ini masih banyak perusahaan yang belum sepenuhnya memanfaatkan teknologi untuk melakukan kegiatan operasional yang belum sepenuhnya memanfaatkan teknologi untuk melakukan kegiatan operasional atau manajemen perkantoran. Salah satunya adalah proses pengajuan cuti, masih banyak perusahaan yang melakukan proses pengajuan cuti secara manual menggunakan formulir. Olah karena itu, melihat tren teknologi saat ini, penulis memiliki ide untuk menciptakan sebuah sistem aplikasi “Pengajuan cuti berbasis mobile” yang dapat menggantikan sistem manual atau sistem tidak manual namun hanya dapat dilakukan dilingkungan kantor saja. Aplikasi ini berjalan pada platform Android. Diharapkan aplikasi ini dapat membantu para karyawan untuk melakukan pengajuan cuti secara mobile yang lebih efektif dan efisien.
