Abstract
ABSTRAKSI Location-Based Service (LBS) memanfaatkan teknologi GPS dalam pengaplikasiannya. Selain dapat mengetahui posisi pengguna, aplikasi LBS juga dapat menentukan posisi tempat-tempat tertentu. Dan dengan kombinasi ini, aplikasi LBS akan mencari rute untuk menghubungkan posisi pengguna dengan suatu tempat serta memanfaatkan servis di google yang sudah disertakan layer trafic sehingga untuk menentukan perkiraan konsumsi bahan bakar yang lebih efisein. Pada tugas akhir ini di rancang sebuah aplikasi dengan pemanfaatan teknologi Location Based Service (LBS) yang dapet mengetahui lokasi pengguna. Aplikasi tersebut dan membantu para teknisi menuju lokasi gangguan serta mengetahui jalur gangguan dengan bantuan Google Map. Kata Kunci : Location Based Service, GoogleMap, Geografis Information System ABSTRACTION Location-Based Service (LBS)utilizes GPS technology in its application. Besides being able to know the position of the user, LBS applications can also specify the position of certain places. And with this combination, LBS applications will find a route to connect the user's position with a place and utilize services that are already included in Google trafic layer so as to determine estimated consumption of fuel efisein. In this thesis designed an application with the use of technology Location Based Service (LBS)which dapet know the user's location. The application and help the technicians to the fault location as well as knowing the path interference with the help of Google Map.
