Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh kepemimpin terhadap kinerja karyawan di Unit Pelaksana Teknis Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Provinsi DKI Jakarta, kepemimpinan sebagai variabel bebas dan kinerja karyawan sebagai variabel terikat. Penelitian ini membahas variabel-variabel dan hubungannya antara kepemimpin dan kinerja karyawan. Analisis korelasi dan regresi dengan data primer yang diambil secara random dengan menggunakan skala likert. Data dari karyawan diperoleh melalui metode kuesioner. Data yang diperoleh diuji dengan uji reabilitas, uji kevalidan data kemudian dilakukan analisi data dengan uji regresi dan pengujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan program SPSS 16. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa Kepemimpinan di UPT Alkal DPU Provinsi DKI Jakarta berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan UPT Alkal DPU Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Selain itu,penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa indikator-indikator kepemimpinan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap indikator-indikator kinerja karyawan, kecuali pada hubungan antara indikator konsiderasi individual, faktor motivasi inspirasional dan faktor stimulasi terhadap kualitas pekerjaan yang pengaruhnya positif tapi tidak signifikan. Kata kunci : Kepemimpinan, Kinerja, Karyawan, Pimpinan This study examines correlation between leadership with performance of employee in Technical Implementation Unit of Public Operation Departement Jakarta, Leadership as independent variable and employee performance as dependent variable. This study discussed variables and correlation between leadership and employee performance. Correlation and regression analysis with primary data taken randomly by using Likert Scale. Data from employees are obtained through questionnaire method. Data obtained were tested with reliability and validity test, and then performed data analysis with regression test and hypotheses test by using SPSS 16. From the result of study revealed that leadership in UPT Alkal DPU Jakarta has positive and significant correlalation with employee performance UPT Alkal DPU Jakarta. In addition, this study shows that indicators of leadership has positive and significant correlation with employee performance indicators, except correlation between individual consideration indicators, inspirational and motivational factor, and stimulating factor on the quality of work has positive correlation but not significant.
