Abstract
ABSTRACT The process of booking a vehicle and property policy on PT 'XYZ' is still using Microsoft Office tools (Excel). When viewed in terms of functionality on an institution, it is still quite yet effective and efficient because it allows errors in the data entry process very much and takes quite a long time. As the major agencies who work and involves the management by many employees, PT 'XYZ' need solutions to simplify information access invoice reports and closing instruction. By developing ideas that have been there before and to improve internal party information security agency, then created a design of information systems with a web-based booking policy waterfall method which has five core processes. The first process is communication, planning, modeling, contruction and maintenance. Keywords: Analysis, Design, Information Systems, Brokerage, Web-based, The waterfall method. ABSTRAK Proses booking policy kendaraan dan properti pada PT ‘XYZ’ masih menggunakan perangkat Microsoft Office (Excel). Bila dilihat dari segi fungsionalitas pada suatu instansi, hal tersebut masih tergolong belum efektif dan efesien karena memungkinkan terjadinya kesalahan pada proses pemasukan data yang sangat banyak dan memakan waktu yang cukup lama. Sebagai instansi besar yang bekerja dan melibatkan pihak manajemen dengan banyak pegawai, PT ‘XYZ’ memerlukan solusi untuk mempermudah pengaksesan informasi laporan invoice dan closing instruction. Dengan mengembangkan ide yang telah ada sebelumnya dan untuk meningkatkan sekuritas informasi pihak internal instansi, maka dibuat sebuah rancangan sistem informasi booking policy berbasis web dengan metode waterfall yang memiliki lima proses inti. Proses pertama yaitu communication, planning, modeling, contruction, dan maintenance. Kata kunci : Analisa, Perancangan, Sistem informasi, Pialang, Berbasis web, Metode waterfall.
