Abstract

ABSTRAK Dalam perancangan suatu produk, kebutuhan konsumen merupakan aspek yang penting. Tetapi, produsen terkadang mengabaikan hal ini demi menghasilkan produk dengan harga yang murah. Pada umumnya, meja setrika merupakan papan kayu besar dengan bagian satu sisi yang meruncing, dilapisi dengan bantalan atau busa yang berfungsi agar permukaan menjadi anti panas dan proses menyetrika menjadi lembut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi suara konsumen terkait desain meja setrika saat ini sehingga terungkap masalah dan keluhan yang ada untuk dikaji menghasilkan inovasi produk pada desain meja setrika yang memenuhi tingkat kepuasan yang diharapkan oleh konsumen. Hasil dari penelitian ini terdapat meja setrika yang mudah disimpan dan dipindahkan, mendukung fleksibilitas pengguna. Kata kunci: Kebutuhan Konsumen, Meja Setrika, Desain, Inovasi Produk ABSTRACT In the design a product, the needs of consumers is the most important. But, producers sometimes ignore this by produce products for a low price. In general, the iron board is a large wooden board with the one side that tapers, coated with bearing or foam that serves to the surface of into heat-resistant and the process of ironing become soft. The research aims to identify the table consumers related to design iron board now, so that unfold a matter and complaint exists for examined produce product innovation to the design of the iron board that meet a level of satisfaction that expected by consumers.
