Abstract

MODERN ROCKING CHAIR FOR CHILDERN (KUROYANTAI) FERIANSYAH 41913310010 ABSTRACT The chair is one of the furniture needed for the pedestal. Chairs become part of the furniture that complements the interior design of a room. At this time, many seats are found with a unique concept. The development of this design is influenced by the needs of users to meet align with the idea of concept or theme of a room. This uniqueness gives its own cirikhas. Seats with unique themes or shapes are more interesting and give the impression that more than just a chair. The seat the designer wants to make is a chair with the merger of two functions of the chair, the rocking chair and the seat. Thisrocking chair is made for children to relax until it provides simple relaxation. Relaxation given to the child helps to improve brain performance. In addition, a unique and modern design, is expected to erode the mystical view of the rocking chair that has been the mainset most people. Kursi menjadi bagian dari furnitur yang melengkapi interior desain sebuah ruangan. Pada saat ini, banyak ditemukan kursi dengan konsep yang unik. Berkembangnya desain ini dipengaruhi oleh kebutuhan pengguna untuk memenuhi menyelaraskan dengan ide konsep rancagnan atau tema dari sebuah ruangan. Keunikan ini memberi cirikhas tersendiri. Kursi dengan tema atau bentuk yang unik lebih menarik dan memberikan kesan yang lebih dari sekedar sebuah kursi. Kursi yang hendak perancang buat adalah kursi dengan penggabungan dua fungsi kursi, yaitu kursi goyang dan kursi duduk. Kursi goyang ini dibuat untuk anak-anak bersantai hingga memberikan relaksasi sederhana. Relaksasi yang diberikan pada anak membantu untuk meningkatkan kinerja otak. Selain itu, desain yang unik dan modern, diharapkan mampu mengikis pandangan mistis terhadap kursi goyang yang selama ini menjadi mainset kebanyakan orang.
