Abstract

DESIGN OF JAKET TWO FUNCTIONS JAKPACK Written Project Report Study Programs Product Design Mercu Buana University Bekasi, 2017 By: Yullia Puspasari ABSTRACT Motorcycle jacket has several types based on its function, one of which is a motorcycle jacket daily. This type of motorcycle jacket usually worn for daily activities such as, to the office and driving a short distance. But because it has a large cut makes this type of jacket enough to eat a lot of space at the time of storage. From the results of observation, the authors found some users who find it difficult when this jacket is not charged. Usually the users take it in their hands or put it in a backpack or bag that has loads of stuff that makes it look more bulging. The condition seems impractical and efficient. The purpose of this design is to provide a new alternative in this case. Innovations that can help jacket users who do not want to be bothered with the amount of luggage as well as want more function than just a regular jacket but still look fashionable. Keyword: Jacket, Bag, Innovation PERANCANGAN JAKET DUA FUNGSI JAKPACK Pertanggungjawaban Tertulis Program Studi Desain Produk Universitas Mercu Buana Bekasi, 2017 Oleh: Yullia Puspasari ABSTRAK Jaket motor memiliki beberapa jenis berdasarkan fungsinya, salah satunya yaitu jaket motor harian. Jaket motor jenis ini biasa dikenakan untuk aktivitas seharihari seperti, ke kantor dan berkendara jarak dekat. Namun karena memiliki potongan yang besar membuat jenis jaket ini cukup memakan banyak ruang pada saat penyimpanan. Dari hasil observasi, penulis menemukan beberapa pengguna yang merasa kesulitan saat jaket ini sedang tidak dikenakan. Biasanya para pengguna membawanya begitu saja di tangan atau memasukannya di ransel atau tas yang telah memuat banyak barang sehingga membuatnya menjadi terlihat lebih menggembung. Kondisi tersebut terkesan tidak praktis dan efisien. Maksud dari perancangan ini adalah memberi alternatif baru dalam kasus ini. Inovasi yang dapat membantu para pengguna jaket yang tidak ingin direpotkan dengan jumlah barang bawaan sekaligus menginginkan fungsi lebih dari sekedar jaket biasa namun tetap terlihat fashionable.
