Abstract

The research intends to analyze one of the causes of rework which is a problem that cannot be separated from the construction world. Rework is one of the factors causing delays in work productivity and the increase in work costs in a construction project. This study examines the factors that cause rework which are reviewed based on design and document factors, managerial, resources, materials, quality, and site construction as well as efforts to minimize rework based on how big the impact is caused by these factors. This study was designed by investigating the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The independent variables consist of 6 (six) variables, namely: Design and Documents (X1), Management (X2), resources (X3), materials (X4), quality (X5) and site construction (X6). While the dependent variable is rework risk (Y). Questionnaires were distributed to 40 (forty) respondents consisting of: 1 (one) PM, 2 (two) QA/QC, 22 (twenty-two) field staff, and 15 (fifteen) engineering team members. Each questionnaire variable consists of 15 questions based on the dimensions and indicators of the research variables. Each question has 5 (five) choices, namely 5 (strongly agree), 4 (agree), 3 (neutral), 2 (disagree) and 1 (strongly disagree). Prior to data processing, the data was tested first for validation, after that the reliability was determined and the correlation coefficient was determined and the Pearson coefficient was determined to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable in contributing to the risk of rework. Ranking the causes of rework risk in the Cartenzs Residence Apartment construction project: ranking 1 with contractor management making the wrong decision, (score 152) can be overcome by choosing contractor management who has been in the field for a long time, if necessary testing and training, ranking 2 with a fixed schedule overcrowding (a score of 150) can be overcome with a detailed and thorough work plan, and ranking 3 is a work procedure. (score 149), can be anticipated by training so that errors in work procedures can be overcome. Keywords: Design and documents, Management, resources, materials, quality, site construction Penelitian bermaksud untuk menganalisa salah satu penyebab Rework yang merupakan suatu permasalahan yang tidak dapat dilepaskan dari dunia konstruksi. Rework menjadi salah satu faktor penyebab keterlambatan produktivitas kerja serta kenaikan biaya pengerjaan dalam sebuah proyek konstruksi. Pada penelitian ini meneliti tentang faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan rework yang ditinjau berdasarkan faktor desain dan dokumen, manajerial, sumber daya, material, mutu, dan site construction serta upaya meminimalisir terjadi rework berdasarkan seberapa besar dampak yang diakibatkan oleh faktor-faktor tersebut. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menyelidiki pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat. Variabel bebas terdiri 6(enam) variabel yaitu : Desain dan Dokumen (X1), Manajemen (X2), sumberdaya (X3), material (X4), mutu (X5) dan site contruction (X6). Sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah risiko rework (Y). Kuesioner disebarkan kepada 40 (empat puluh) responden yang terdiri dari : 1 (satu) orang PM, 2 (dua) orang QA/QC, 22 (duapuluhdua) orang staff lapangan, dan 15 (limabelas) orang tim engineering. Setiap variabel kuesioner terdiri dari 15 pertanyaan yang dibuat berdasarkan dimensi dan indikator variabel penelitian. Setiap pertanyaan mempunyai 5 (lima) pilihan yaitu 5 (sangat setuju), 4(setuju), 3 (netral), 2 (tidak setuju) dan 1 (sangat tidak setuju). Sebelum dilakukan pengolahan data, data diuji dulu untuk di validasi, reabilitasinya setelah itu ditentukan koefisien determinasi dan korelasi Koefisien Pearson untuk menentukan pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat dalam menyumbang resiko rework. Ranking penyebab terjadinya resiko rework pada proyek konstruksi Apartement cartenzs residence: ranking 1 dengan manajemen kontraktor salah mengambil keputusan, (nilai 152) dapat diatasi dengan memilih manajemen kontraktor yang sudah lama berkecimbung dalam bidangnya, jika perlu dilakukan pengujian dan pelatihan, ranking 2 dengan Jadwal yang terlalu padat (nilai 150) dapat diatasi dengan rencana pekerjaan terperinci dan teliti, dan ranking 3 adalah salah prosedur kerja. (nilai 149), dapat diantisipasi dengan pelatihan-pelatihan sehingga dapat diatasi adanya kesalahan dalam prosedur kerja.
