Abstract

The fierce political contestation in the Election of Buru District 2017 requires that every candidate pair of regents and vice regents, promoted and supported by political parties, must communicate politically to the prospective voters in an effort to win the elections of Buru Regency 2017. Similarly, Golkar Party to do political communication strategy in winning Election of Buru Regency 2017. The purpose of research to know picture strategy of message and political media of Golkar Party in winning Election of Buru Regency 2017 and obstacles it faced. Qualitative research approach using case study method. The theory used is a political communication strategy (Dan Nimmo, 2004), particularly messaging strategies and media strategies. Data collection using primary data derived from observations and in-depth interviews with informants. Secondary data comes from document studies, literature. Data processing using qualitative analysis. The conclusion of this research is, first, Golkar Party communicate the couple of RAMA to the audience by optimizing the strategy of message and media strategy and dialogical communication in elections of Buru 2017. Secondly, the obstacles faced include having to do political deals that produce Win-win solution, although it takes a long time, so the socialization program that should be done soon, becomes not timely, because it must accommodate the desire of supporting political parties. Another obstacle is the low level of education in most of the people of Buru Regency, which is generally lower-middle school. So it is necessary to approach the communication in accordance with the mindset and culture of the language that is used daily, can not use the language that is too high but must use the daily language of society in general in Buru district, Keywords: Legislative General Election, Political Communication Strategy, Message Strategy, Media Strategy, Dialogic Communication.
