Abstract

The development of the automotive industry is currently growing very fast. This encourages the growth of industry components. PT.NF an enggine valve company manufacture components for cars and motorcycles. The high number of disruptions in the production process into the problems in the production process. Analysis of the problems that run needs to be done, especially on the equipment as one of the key factors in the production process. The concept of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) is a suitable strategy to resolve the issue. The purpose of the TPM is to maximize the effectiveness of the equipment by using overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) function to see the overall condition of the effectiveness and efficiency which includes three factors: avaibility rate, performance rate and the rate of quality. The use of machinery / equipment that are not effective and efficient there are six factors called six big losses. This study was to measure the value of OEE, analyze the causes of the high breakdown and seek improvement of the problems that arise. By calculating the value of OEE, get root causes so as to obtain a solution to these problems. OEE calculation results machining AB and C during the months of July 2014 to December 2014 was still below the standard world class manufacturing (WCM). Six big losses calculation results obtained most influential factor is the breakdown losses. Keywords: TPM, OEE, Six Big Losses, WCM. Perkembangan industri otomotif saat ini berkembang sangat pesat. Hal ini mendorong pertumbuhan industri komponen. PT.NF merupakan perusahaan komponen manufaktur engine valve untuk mobil dan sepeda motor. Tingginya jumlah gangguan dalam proses produksi menjadi permasalahan dalam proses produksi. Analisa terhadap permasalahan yang berjalan perlu dilakukan, terutama terhadap peralatan sebagai salah satu faktor kunci dalam proses produksi. Konsep TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) merupakan strategi yang cocok untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut. Tujuan dari TPM adalah untuk memaksimalkan efektivitas peralatan dengan menggunakan metode overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) berfungsi untuk melihat secara keseluruhan kondisi efektivitas dan efisiensi yang mencakup tiga faktor yaitu avaibility rate, performance rate dan rate of quality. Penggunaan mesin / peralatan yang tidak efektif dan efisien terdapat enam faktor yang disebut six big losses. Penelitian ini untuk mengukur nilai OEE, menganalisa penyebab tingginya breakdown dan mengupayakan perbaikan dari masalah yang timbul. Dengan menghitung nilai OEE, mendapatkan akar permasalahan sehingga dapat memperoleh solusi terhadap permasalahan tersebut. Hasil perhitungan OEE machining AB dan C selama bulan Juli 2014 sampai Desember 2014 masih dibawah standard world class manufacturing (WCM). Hasil perhitungan six big losses didapat faktor yang paling berpengaruh adalah breakdown losses. Kata kunci: TPM, OEE, Six Big Losses,WCM
