Abstract

Komunikasi yang terbuka merupakan hal yang paling penting dan berpengaruh dalam keberlangsungan sebuah organisasi atau perusahaan. Agar komuikasi yang lancar dan terbuka, diperlukan upaya terus menerus dalam mengurangi kesenjangan komunikasi agartidak sampai terjadi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Biro Humas Kemensos RI yang mana sering terjadi perbedaan pendapat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui implementasi employee relations dalam mengurangi kesenjangan komunikasi atasan dan bawahan dalam program Family Gathering pada Kementerian Sosial RI. Family gathering dilakukan untuk mempererat silaturrahmi dan kekompakan dalam organisasi atau perusahaan. Kegiatan ini dapat meningkatan komunikasi antara atasan dan bawahan. Sehingga kesenjangan komunikasi dapat dihindarkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan mewawancarai, mengobservasi sertamenganalisis data yang didapat dari beberapa sumber di Biro Humas mengenai kegiatan family gathering Biro Humas Kemensos RI. Hasil data dianalisi menggunakan model Miles &Huberman. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi employe relations yang dilakukan oleh humas kemensos RImelalui program family gathering dapat mengurangi kesenjangan antara pimpinan dan bawahan. Bahkan dapat meningkatkan kekompakan dan kesolidan antar pegawai. Kata Kunci – Employe Relations, Public Relations, Family Gathering. Open communication is the most important and influential thing in the sustainability of an organization or company. For smooth and open communication, continuous efforts are needed to reduce communication gaps so that they do not occur. This research was conducted at the Public Relations Bureau of the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, where there are often differences of opinion. This study aims to determine the implementation of employee relations in reducing the communication gap between superiors and subordinates in the Family Gathering program at the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs. Family gatherings are conducted to strengthen friendship and cohesiveness within the organization or company. This activity can improve communication between superiors and subordinates. So that communication gaps can be avoided. This study uses a qualitative approach by interviewing, observing and analyzing data obtained from several sources in the Public Relations Bureau regarding the family gathering activities of the Ministry of Social Affairs RI Public Relations Bureau. The data results were analyzed using the Miles & Huberman model. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of employee relations carried out by the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia through a family gathering program can reduce the gap between leaders and subordinates. It can even increase cohesiveness and solidarity between employees. Keywords – Employee Relations, Public Relations, Family Gathering
