Abstract

In early 2014 the government officially published the Health BPJS Program for all Indonesian people. To meet the needs of drugs, the government will conduct auctions that can be followed by all pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia through the LKPP auction. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there are significant differences in the financial performance of pharmaceutical companies on the IDX both large and small companies before and after the BPJS Health period 2012-2017. The sampling method uses purposive sampling with certain criteria. The population of this study was 9 companies and the sample used was 7 pharmaceutical companies. The analytical method used is Paired Sample t-test for before and after analysis and independent sample t-test for comparison of company sizes. With a significance value of t (2- tailed) <of 0.05 then Ha is accepted. Overall different test results before and after the BPJS showed a significant difference in the profitability ratio, large companies before and after the BPJS showed a significant difference in the Market Based ratio. While small companies there are no significant differences, but in the profitability ratio there are differences in the ratio of Return on Equity (ROE). In the different size test of large and small companies before the existence of BPJS shows a significant difference in the ratio of Activity, Whereas the different size test of large and small companies after the existence of BPJS shows a significant difference in Market Based ratio. The difference in the financial performance of pharmaceutical companies after the existence of BPJS tends to decrease. This decline is caused by drug price competition where companies have to sell products with low prices and low margins. Suggestions for the entire pharmaceutical industry should not only focus on the domestic market, the pharmaceutical industry must also be able to penetrate foreign markets (exports) so as to increase sales and earn profits and improve financial performance. Keywords: Financial Performance, comparison, company size Pada awal tahun 2014 pemerintah resmi menerbitkan Program BPJS Kesehatan untuk seluruh masyarakat Indonesia. untuk memenuhi kebutuhan obat, pemerintah akan melakukan lelang yang dapat diikuti oleh seluruh perusahaan farmasi di Indonesia melalui lelang LKPP. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kinerja keuangan perusahaan farmasi di BEI baik perusahaan besar dan kecil sebelum dan sesudah adanya BPJS Kesehatan periode 2012-2017. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive sampling dengan kriteria tertentu. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah 9 perusahaan dan sampel yang digunakan adalah 7 perusahaan farmasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan Paired Sample t- test untuk analisis sebelum dan sesudah dan independent sample t- test untuk perbandingan ukuran perusahaan. Dengan nilai signifikansi t (2-tailed) < dari 0,05 maka Ha diterima. Hasil penelitian uji beda secara keseluruhan sebelum dan sesudah BPJS menunjukan perbedaan yang signifikan pada rasio Profitabilitas, Perusahaan besar sebelum dan sesudah BPJS menunjukan perbedaan yang signifikan pada rasio Market Based. Sedangkan perusahaan kecil tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan, tetapi pada rasio Profitabilitas terdapat perbedaan pada rasio Return on Equity (ROE). Pada uji beda ukuran perusahaan besar dan kecil sebelum adanya BPJS menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan pada rasio Aktifitas, Sedangkan uji beda ukuran perusahaan besar dan kecil sesudah adanya BPJS menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan pada rasio Market Based. Perbedaan kinerja keuangan perusahaan farmasi setelah adanya BPJS cenderung menurun. penurununan ini disebabkan oleh persaingan harga obat yang dimana perusahaan harus menjual produk dengan low price dan low margin. Saran untuk seluruh industri farmasi seharusnya jangan hanya terfokus pada pasar domestik saja, industri farmasi juga harus mampu menembus pasar luar negri (ekspor) sehingga mampu meningkatkan penjualannya dan memperoleh laba dan meningkatkan kinerja keuangannya.
