Abstract

Research conduct to analyze doctors prescription pattern for anti cholesterol drug. Research design is causal research design with survey methodology and total 150 respondents, the respondents are doctors specialist who prescribe anti cholesterol drug (general practitioner, cardiologist, internist, and neurologist) Jakarta and Surabaya. Sampling design is purposive random sampling. Research objective is to analyze doctors prescription pattern on anti cholesterol drug. Variable are price consideration, product profile perseption, medical representative perseption and company image, specialty doctors recomendation and clinical experience, and drug availability. Research result with biplot analysis can describe atribut relation with brand for anti cholesterol drug. Factor analysis and linear regression analysis we can conclude product profile perseption, medical representative perseption and company image, specialty doctors recomendation and clinical experience, economical price and drug availability are the factors influence doctors for prescribe anti cholesterol drug. And factor that give significance impact are product profile perseption, medical representative perseption and company image, specialty doctors recomendation and clinical experience and drug availability Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisa pola peresepan obat anti kolesterol oleh dokter. Desain riset yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan desain riset kausal dengan metode survei yang menggunakan 150 responden dokter spesialisasi yang meresepkan obat anti kolesterol (dokter umum, dokter ahli penyakit dalam, dokter ahli jantung, dokter ahli syaraf) di Jakarta dan Surabaya. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive random sampling. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pola peresepan obat anti kolesterol oleh dokter. Variabel yang diteliti adalah pertimbangan harga, pengaruh persepsi profil produk, pengaruh persepsi medical representative dan perusahaan, persepsi mengenai rekomendasi dokter ahli dan pengalaman klinis, ketersediaan obat. Hasil penelitian ini dengan menggunakan analisis biplot didapatkan gambaran mengenai kedekatan atribut dengan merek obat anti kolesterol yang diamati. Sedangkan dengan analisis faktor dan regresi linier, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa faktor pengaruh persepsi profil produk, pengaruh persepsi medical representative dan perusahaan, persepsi mengenai rekomendasi dokter ahli dan pengalaman klinis, harga yang ekonomis dan ketersediaan obat adalah mempengaruhi dokter dalam keputusan meresepkan obat anti kolesterol. Sedangkan faktor yang mempengaruhi secara simultan dan signifikan terhadap keputusan meresepkan obat anti kolesterol adalah persepsi profil produk, pengaruh persepsi medical representative dan perusahaan, persepsi mengenai rekomendasi dokter ahli dan pengalaman klinis dan ketersediaan obat.
