Abstract

Dengan adanya GPS pengguna smartphone dapat mengetahui koordinat dari pengguna, yaitu berupa data latitude dan longitude. GPS dapat digunakan untuk mendapatkan informasi, seperti kecepatan, arah yang dituju, jalur, tujuan perjalanan, jarak tujuan, matahari terbit dan matahari terbenam dan lain-lain. Informasi yang didapatkan dari data GPS dapat diproses dan diolah sesuai dengan kebutuhan dari sistem. Pada PT. Arif Cipta Mandiri ada permasalahan dalam laporan absensi atau kehadiran karyawan, karena karyawan bekerja pada banyak lokasi outlet dan tidak adanya sistem pencatatan terkomputerisasi sehingga rentan terjadi kesalahan rekap kehadiran atau manipulasi data kehadiran jika masih menerapkan sistem pencatatan manual. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut maka diperlukan sebuah sistem yang dapat digunakan secara mobile dan dapat menunjukkan posisi kehadiran karyawan sesuai dengan lokasi yang ditetapkan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sistem absensi berbasis aplikasi Android untuk perangkat mobile dengan menerapkan teknologi GPS. Pengembangan sistem menggunakan metode Agile Prototype, dengan bahasa pemrograman JavaScript dan framework Code Ignitier (CI). Sistem ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah dan mempercepat dalam pencatatan dan rekap absensi karyawan serta mengurangi manipulasi data kehadiran karyawan. Sistem absensi ini diakses secara individual dalam perangkat bergerak (HP/Tablet) dan tidak dapat diwakilkan. Absensi dengan aplikasi berbasis GPS merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kedisiplinan karyawan yang bekerja secara shift di banyak lokasi. Aplikasi ini dapat diakses oleh divisi HRD yang mencatat dan melakukan verifikasi kehadiran seseorang. Selain untuk pencatatan kehadiran karyawan, aplikasi ini juga memberikan informasi mengenai status kesehatan karyawan berupa status vaksisnasi Covid dan suhu tubuh harian. Hal tersebut penting karena PT. Arif Cipta Mandiri merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang makanan siap saji. To overcome this, we need a system that can be used mobile and can show the presence of employees according to a predetermined location. Therefore, an Android application-based attendance system is needed for mobile devices by applying GPS technology. The system development uses the Agile Prototype method, with the JavaScript programming language and the Code Ignitier (CI) framework. This system is expected to make it easier and faster to record and recap employee attendance and reduce employee attendance data. This presence system is accessed individually on a mobile device (HP/Tablet) and cannot be represented. Attendance with GPS-based applications is one way to improve employee discipline who works in shifts in many locations. This application can be accessed by the HRD division which records and discloses a person's presence. In addition to recording employees, this application also provides information on employee health status in the form of Covid vaccination status and daily body temperature.
