Abstract
This research is conducted to know whether competencies and communication have influence toward the increasing of employee performance at PT. NX Indonesia, and also to know which one of the variable that has more influence on the performance of employees at that company. The hypothesis in this research is that the competencies and communication have influence on the performance of PT. NX Indonesia, and the researcher uses the explanation method in the research. The population of the research obtained from the employees of PT. NX Indonesia with the sampling method used Slovin formula and results 86 respondents of sample. the research instrument use questionnaires with likert scale, for validity and reliability examined with SPSS 17 program. For data analysis the researcher uses multiple regression analysis Partially, tthe competencies variables have more infuence than communication variables on the performance of employees at PT. NX Indonesia. The result of the research denotes that variables of competencies and communication simultaneously have influence toward the increasing employee performance, the contribution is 81,20% while the remaining 18,80% influenced by other variables those are not included in this research. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi dan komunikasi terhadap kinerja karyawan PT NX Indonesia, dan mengetahui variable mana yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan PT NX Indonesia. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah kompetensi dan komunikasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja PT NX Indonesia dan metode yang digunakan adalah metode explanation. Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT NX Indonesia, dengan mengambil sampel menggunakan rumus slovin dan dihasilkan jumlah sampel sebanyak 86 responden. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah berupa kuesioner dengan menggunakan skala likert, validitas dan reliabilitas diuji dengan program SPSS 17. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Secara parsial variabel kompetensi memiliki pengaruh lebih besar dibanding variabel komunikasi terhadap kinerja karyawan PT NX Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variable Kompetensi dan Komunikasi secara bersama sama mempunyai pengaruh sebesar 81,20% sedangkan sisanya 18,80% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini.
