Abstract

This research is conducted to analyze the influences of Commitment and Motivation of the teachers’ performance at SMA and SMK BUDI MULIA. The close emotional of teachers’ on school and moral obligation to work at the school is the meaning of commitment, but the process of intensity, direction and teachers’ effort in teaching and learning process as teachers’ motivation. Commitment and process are guessed to give strong influence on teachers’ performance at SMA and SMK BUDI MULIA. The method of this research used quantitative research by using survey methodology through questioner given. The population of this study are all of the SMA and SMK BUDI MULIA teachers’ totally 69 teachers with the classification 42 are women or 61 %, the age of population between 30-40 years old, background of education are S1 ( undergraduate ) with experiences 6-10 years. The independent variable is the commitment and motivation and the dependent variable is teachers performance. To test the influenced variable, the research is using dual linear regression method, t-test and F-test. The result of the research is refused Ho and accepted Ha, there is influence commitment and motivation on the teacher performance at SMA and SMK BUDI MULIA. From determination score ( R2 ) 51,9 % teacher performance influenced by commitment and motivation and the other 48,1 % influenced by other variable which is not researched in this study. From the two independent variables, which is the most influenced on the teacher performance is commitment. This research is supposed to help organization management of SMA and SMK BUDI MULIA. The suggestion is there need the improvement commitment and motivation, in order teacher can improve their performance at the school. Beside that, the result of the research is useful to help the next research.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengungkap pengaruh Komitmen Dan Motivasi Terhadap Kinerja Guru di SMA dan SMK Budi Mulia. Kedekatan emosional guru terhadap sekolah dan kewajiban moralnya untuk terus berkarya di sekolah adalah arti dari komitmen. Sedangkan proses memperhitungkan intensitas, arah serta usaha guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar sebagai motivasi seorang guru. Komitmen dan motivasi diduga memberikan pengaruh kuat terhadap kinerja guru. Sehingga masalah yang yang diajukan adalah adakah pengaruh komitmen dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru di SMA dan SMK Budi Mulia. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survei melalui pemberian kuesioner. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMA dan SMK Budi Mulia yang berjumlah 69 orang Jumlah guru perempuan sebanyak 42 orang atau 61%, usia 30-40 tahun, pendidikan S1 dan masa kerja 6-10 tahun. Adapun variabel bebasnya komitmen dan motivasi sedangkan variabel terikatnya kinerja guru. Untuk menguji variabel yang berpengaruh, peneliti menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda, uji t dan Uji F. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah menolak Ho dan menerima Ha, yaitu adanya pengaruh komitmen dan motivasi terhadap Kinerja Guru di SMA dan SMK BUDI MULIA. Dari nilai koefisien determinasi (R2 ) 51,9% Kinerja guru dipengaruhi oleh Komitmen dan Motivasi dan sisanya 48,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Dari 2 variabel bebas tersebut yang paling berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Guru adalah Komitmen. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat berguna untuk membantu manajemen Organisasi SMA dan SMK BUDI MULIA. Disarankan perlu adanya strategi peningkatan komitmen dan motivasi guru secara berkesinambungan agar dapat meningkatkan Kinerja Guru di sekolah.. Selain itu hasil penelitian ini diharapkan berguna untuk membantu penelitian lebih lanjut.
