Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of professionalism and job satisfaction on the performance of members of the Pasar Minggu Police Sector. Research data is data obtained directly from members of the Pasar Minggu Police Sector as research respondents. The whole population numbering 94 people were used as sample of research using questionnaire techniques for data collection. The analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression. The results showed that professionalism has positive effect on the performance of members but not significantly, while job satisfaction has positive and significant effect on the performance of members. Simultaneously professionalism and job satisfaction has positive and significant effect on the performance of members. The variable job satisfaction have an important role in improving the performance of members of the Pasar Minggu Police Sector. Keywords: professionalism, job satisfaction, performance, cencus method, questionnaire techniques, multiple linear regression Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh profesionalisme dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja anggota Kepolisian Sektor Pasar Minggu. Data penelitian merupakan data yang diperoleh langsung dari anggota Kepolisian Sektor Pasar Minggu selaku responden penelitian. Seluruh populasi yang berjumlah 94 orang dijadikan sampel penelitian dengan menggunakan teknik kuesioner untuk pengumpulan data. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profesionalisme berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja anggota tetapi tidak signifikan, sedangkan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja anggota. Secara simultan profesionalisme dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja anggota. Variabel kepuasan kerja memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja anggota Kepolisian Sektor Pasar Minggu.
