Abstract
iv ABSTRAK Persaingan dibidang industri manufaktur semakin ketat. Adanya perubahan pola produksi yang semakin cepat mengharuskan semua komponen dalam proses produksi bejalan dengan baik. Tidak luput dari faktor kualitas adalah salah satu faktor penting dalam mendukung terciptanya kepercayaan pelanggan terhadap produsen. PT. XYZ salah satu industri manufaktur yang berada di kawasan MM2100. Akan tetapi dalam proses produksinya masih banyak hasil produksi yang mengalami kecacatan akibat tingginya volume produksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan perbaikan kulitas produk dengan pendekatan Metode Statistical Process Control. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat kecacatan Dent 31%, Rusty 23%, Telescophe 21%, Scrath 13%, Wave 7% dan, Collapse 5%. Sedangkan hasil pengukuran kapabilitas proses dari capability potensial (cp) = 0,28 dan capability indiex (cpk) = 0,068 yang dimana berada < 1. untuk mengurangi tingkat kecacatan produk yaitu melakukan ide-ide perbaikan dengan 5W+1H serta melakukan pengkontrolan dengan cara pembuatan checksheet. Kata kunci : Statistical Process Control, 5W+1H ABSTRACT Competition in the manufacturing industry is getting tougher. The changes in production patterns that are increasingly fast need all components in the production process to run well. Do not escape from the quality factor is one important factor in supporting the creation of customer confidence in producers. PT. XYZ is one of the manufacturing industries in the MM2100 region. However, in the production process there are still many production results that increase disability in increasing production volume. The purpose of this study is to improve product quality with the Statistical Process Control Method. The results showed the defect rate of 31% Dents, Rusty 23%, Telescophe 21%, Scrath 13%, Wave 7% and, Collapse 5%. While the results of the measurement of process capability from potential capability (cp) = 0.28 and indiex capability (cpk) = 0.068 which are under <1. to reduce the level of product defects that is making ideas of improvement with 5W + 1H and controlling by making check sheets..
