Abstract
The type of this research is an explanatory research, because the aim of this research is to explain the influence between the variant of the principal’s leadership and the variant of the effort ot the teachers toward the variant of the student’s achievement. The data collection is taken from the questionnaire and school document. The data analysis uses double regretion analysis. The research method is survey research methode. The respondents of this research are the students of class IX SMP Strada Slamet Riyadi Tangerang as many as 149 students by using the method of proportional raitndom sampling. By using 109 students as the sample of the research. The goal of this research is to figure out the influence of the principal towards the student’s achievement, the influence of the teacher’s effort towards the student’s achievement, and influence of the leadership of the principal and the effort of the teacher simultaneously towards the student’s achievement. Keywords: Principal’s leadership, theacher’s effort, student’s achievement Tipe penelitian ini adalah penelitian penjelasan (explanatory reseach), karena penelitian ini bermaksud menjelaskan pengaruh antara variabel kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan variabel kinerja guru terhadap variabel prestasi siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kusioner dan dokumen sekolah. Analisis data menggunakan analisa regresi ganda. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian survai. Responden adalah siswa IX SMP Strada Slamet Riayadi Tangerang sebanyak 149 orang dengan menggunakan metode proposal random sampling. Dengan menggunakan 109 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepala sekolah terhadap prestasi siswa, pengaruh kinerja guru terhadap prestasi siswa, dan pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan kinerja guru secara bersama – sama terhadap prestasi siswa. Kata Kunci : Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Kinerja Guru dan Prestasi Siswa.
