Abstract

ANALISIS IMPROVEMENT HEATER SYSTEM PADA MESIN PRESS BODY OF GUITAR ABSTRAK Gitar memiliki body dengan kontur yang khas dan pada umumnya menggunakan material kayu. Dalam proses pembuatan body of guitar tersebut, suatu industri perlu melakukan proses pembentukan lekukan pada bagian body of guitar. Biasanya, prinsip kerja untuk membentuk body of guitar perlu dilakukan proses press serta dipanaskan sehingga bisa didapat hasil bentuk gitar yang diinginkan. Saat ini sudah ada rancangan mesin press body of guitar tersebut. Namun, sistem pemanas dinilai tidak merata, banyaknya panas yang terbuang, dan daya yang diperlukan relatif besar. Oleh karena itu, akan dilakukan improvement heater system pada “Body of Guitar Press Machine”. Tujuan dari alat ini ialah dapat membentuk kontur body of guitar dengan lebih ideal, efisien, dan lebih aman. Penelitian ini melakukan analisis pada improvement heater system antara rancangan sebelumnya dengan rancangan yang sudah dilakukan improvement dengan membandingkan nilai kalor dan dayanya sebagai parameter efisiensi heater system. Kata kunci : Gitar, Body of Guitar, Pemanas, Sistem Pemanas IMPROVEMENT HEATER SYSTEM ANALYSIS IN BODY OF GUITAR PRESS MACHINE ABSTRACT The guitar has a body with a distinctive contour and generally uses wood material. In the process of making the body of guitar, an industry needs to process the formation of curves in the body of guitar. Usually, the working principle to form the body of guitar needs to be done by a press and heated process so that the desired guitar shape results can be obtained. Currently there is a body of guitar press machine design. However, the heater system is considered uneven, the amount of heat wasted, and the power needed is relatively large. Therefore, the heating system will be improved on the "Body of Guitar Press Machine". The purpose of this machine is to form the body of guitar contours more ideally, efficiently, and more safely. This study analyzes the improvement of the heater system between the previous design with the design that has been carried out improvement by comparing the heating value and power as a parameter of the heater system efficiency.
