Abstract
ABSTRAK PT. Indonesia Epson Industry merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang jasa layanan perakitan elektronik printer. Masalah yang dihadapi perusahaan adalah adanya ketidakseimbangan di lintasan produksi perakitan printer CF49 akibat ketidakmerataan pembagian beban kerja di setiap stasiun kerja. Hal ini menyebabkan efisiensi lini produksi printer CF49 menjadi kurang baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menghitung idle time, balance delay, dan tingkat efisiensi lini produksi produk printer CF49. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah metode Killbridge Wester dan Diagram Yamazumi. Kondisi awal stasiun perakitan Printer CF49 didapatkan nilai idle time sebesar 6555.93 detik, nilai balance delay 74% , dan nilai line efficiency 26%. Perbaikan line efficiency dilakukan dengan metode Killbridge Wester dengan memindahkan 23 elemen kerja untuk dilakukan pembobotan ke stasiun kerja yang lain. Aktivitas tersebut meningkatkan nilai line efficiency sebesar 17% (dari 26% menjadi 43%). Visualisasi perbaikan line efficiency di stasiun kerja Assembly Mecha to Frame Base ditunjukkan dengan Diagram Yamazumi dimana cycle time terbesar berubah dari 740.97 detik menjadi 456.27 detik. The problem which faced by this company is unbalance of the production line assembly printer CF49 cause by the unequal of work responsibility distribution in each work station. This problem make efficiency of the production line to be less good. The purpose of the study is to calculate idle time, balance delay and the level of efficiency of the CF49 printer`s production line. The method use to achieve this goal is the Killbridge Wester method and Yamazumi Diagram. The initial conditions of the CF49 Printer assembly station were found to be an idle time value of 6555.93 seconds, a balance delay value of 74%, and a line efficiency value of 26%. Improvement line efficiency is done by the Killbridge Wester method by moving 23 work elements to be balance to another work station. The activity increases the line efficiency value by 17% (from 26% to 43%). Visualization of improvement in line efficiency at the Assembly Mecha to Frame Base work station is shown by the Yamazumi Diagram where the largest cycle time changes from 740.97 seconds to 456.27 seconds.
