Abstract

East Java, especially Malang City area, has become a commercial area for East Java residents to do business and work. For this reason, there is a need for accommodation facilities that support business activities so that they can run their business activities smoothly. The accommodation facilities are business hotels, where in business hotels there are facilities that can support one's business activities. The project that will be designed for the final project is a four-star business hotel located in Malang. The hotel is planned to be under the management of one of the hotel chains in Indonesia. The author limits this hotel project by taking the hotel's main restaurant, as well as hotel rooms to be made a special floor plan. The author takes the concept of Modern Eclectic with Majapahit Sense which is based on several aspects, one of which is based on the location aspect, and the writer incorporates local content of East Java arts and culture, especially the Majapahit kingdom as a sweetener into the interior design of this hotel. To realize this concept the authors use natural materials that are widely available in the Malang City Region such as wood, marble and natural stone. Another aspect that influences the interior design of this hotel is the postmodern architecture of the building. The results of the design with the theme Modern Eclectic with Majapahit Sense are expected to provide its own uniqueness that represents the local image of the local international business hotel located in the city of Malang. Keywords: Business, Hotel Buinesss, Modern,Eclectic,Majapahit Jawa Timur khususnya wilayah Kota Malang sudah menjadi kawasan komersil bagi warga Jawa Timur untuk berbisnis dan bekerja. Untuk itu perlu ada sarana akomodasi yang mendukung kegiatan bisnis agar mereka dapat menjalankan kegiatan bisnisnya dengan lancar. Sarana akomodasi tersebut adalah hotel bisnis, dimana di dalam hotel bisnis terdapat fasilitas-fasilitas yang dapat mendukung kegiatan bisnis seseorang. Proyek yang akan dirancang untuk tugas akhir adalah sebuah hotel bisnis bintang empat yang berada di kota Malang. Hotel ini menurut rencana akan berada di bawah manajemen salah satu jaringan hotel di Indonesia. Penulis membatasi proyek hotel ini dengan mengambil restoran utama hotel, serta kamar hotel untuk dijadikan denah khusus. Penulis mengambil konsep Modern Eclectik with Majapahit Sense yang didasari oleh beberapa aspek, salah satunya iyalah berdasarkan aspek lokasi, dan penulis memasukkan lokal konten seni dan budaya Jawa Timur khusnya kerajaan Majapahit sebagai pemanis kedalam perancangan interior hotel ini. Untuk mewujudkan konsep tersebut penulis menggunakan material alami yang banyak terdapat di Wilayah Kota Malang seperti kayu, marmer dan batu alam. Aspek lainnya yang mempengaruhi desain interior hotel ini adalah arsitektur bangunan yang postmoderen. Hasil perancangan dengan tema Modern Eclectik with Majapahit Sense ini diharapkan dapat memberikan keunikan tersendiri yang mewakili citra lokal setempat pada hotel bisnis internasional yang terletak di Kota Malang.
