Abstract
The development of technology and science that is developing very rapidly at this time requires us to participate in following these developments. This development also changes the mindset, habits, and needs of the community over time. The number of hours of work to the density of activity amid the bustle of the city makes people look for peace outside the area to foreign tourist attractions. Santika Resort Hotel - Bengkulu, is one of the commercial buildings engaged in hospitality as a means of supporting business needs, rest areas, to recreation areas. The existence of a Resort Hotel is expected to be one of the solutions for tourists and the people of Bengkulu City who want a natural atmosphere, tranquility, and comfort and a stay experience that provides the best service on the tourism side of the city. In particular, the design of the Santika Resort Hotel - Bengkulu aims to provide facilities as a Resort Hotel that is sufficient for the user's needs so that the comfort and traditional atmosphere while resting can be achieved. In designing and planning based on literature study and comparative study data, the method used is a qualitative method that provides an explanation using analysis. In the design and planning of the Santika Resort Hotel - Bengkulu, applying the Nautical Rustic style with the theme "Omur Besurek Bumi Rafflesia" which is expected to give the appearance of a Resort Hotel with a nautical natural atmosphere that elevates the beauty of the local culture of Bengkulu, so that it can support the needs of city tourism and can be published as an international standard commercial building. This scientific paper can be published in the journal of Interior Design students (FDSK) Mercu Buana University, Narada journals, and national journals in Indonesia. Keywords: Resort Hotel, Nautical, Bengkulu City. Perkembangan teknologi dan ilmu pengetahuan yang berkembang sangat pesat di masa ini menuntut kita untuk ikut serta dalam mengikuti perkembangan tersebut. Perkembangan ini juga merubah pola pikir, kebiasaan, dan kebutuhan masyarakat seiring dengan berjalannya waktu. Banyaknya jam kerja hingga kepadatan aktivitas di tengah kesibukan kota membuat masyarakat mencari ketenangan di luar daerah hingga tempat-tempat wisata mancanegara. Hotel Resort Santika – Bengkulu, merupakan salah satu gedung komersial yang bergerak dalam bidang perhotelan sebagai sarana penunjang kebutuhan bisnis, tempat peristirahatan, hingga tempat rekreasi. Keberadaan sebuah Hotel Resort diharapkan menjadi salah satu solusi bagi para wisatawan dan masyarakat Kota Bengkulu yang menginginkan suasana alami, ketenangan, dan kenyamanan serta pengalaman menginap yang memberikan pelayanan terbaik pada sisi pariwisata dalam kota. Khususnya pada perancangan Hotel Resort Santika – Bengkulu bertujuan memberikan fasilitas sebagai Hotel Resort yang mencukupi dengan kebutuhan pengguna agar kenyamanan dan suasana khas tradisional saat beristirahat dapat tercapai. Dalam melakukan perancangan dan perencanaan berdasarkan data studi literatur maupun studi banding , metode yang dilakukan merupakan metode kualitatif yang bersifat memberikan penjelasan dengan menggunakan analisa. Pada perancangan dan perencanaan Hotel Resort Santika – Bengkulu menerapkan gaya Nautical Rustic dengan mengangkat tema “ Ombak Besurek Bumi Rafflesia “ yang diharapkan dapat memberikan tampilan Hotel Resort dengan suasana alam bahari yang mengangkat keindahan budaya lokal daerah Bengkulu, sehingga dapat menunjang kebutuhan pariwisata kota dan dapat dipublikasikan sebagai bangunan komersial berstandar internasional. Tulisan ilmiah ini dapat terpublikasi pada jurnal mahasiswa Desain Interior (FDSK) Universitas Mercu Buana, jurnal Narada, dan jurnal Nasional di Indonesia.
